00:00More details have been released surrounding former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo
00:05and his OWI or Operating While Intoxicated arrests last week in Wisconsin
00:12and police are saying that he was uncooperative during the traffic stop.
00:18Court records reviewed by the California Post on Monday show that the former Cowboys quarterback
00:23has been issued one citation for refusing to take tests for intoxication after arrest.
00:30And again, this stems from his July 23rd run-in with police in Milwaukee.
00:35In fact, a copy of the citation was not made immediately available
00:41and a request seeking comment from Romo's attorney has not been returned to the California Post either.
00:48But if you remember, in one of our former videos of last week,
00:53Romo was pulled over on an interstate shortly after he had completed a round
00:57at the Wisconsin Amateur Championship Golf Tournament.
01:01The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office wrote in the arrest report
01:05that the 46-year-old was taken into custody and booked on a charge of operating while intoxicated.
01:13First defense after performing poorly on standardized field sobriety tests.
01:19A spokesperson for the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office told the Post Monday
01:24that because of the allegations against Romo, the case is a traffic violation
01:31and not a criminal charge in Wisconsin.
01:34So we're going to monitor that because that can obviously impact different implications
01:40and discipline if CBS decides to discipline him.
01:44Romo has not commented about the arrest as of now, but over the weekend,
01:49he did withdraw from a scheduled appearance at the MPMP Group Texas State Open,
01:56which is slated to begin on Tuesday.
02:00Once again, there's no word yet on if CBS is deciding to discipline Tony Romo.
02:07So them, just like us, need to gather more facts on this matter,
02:12but we will continue to keep you guys posted as more details on the Romo arrest are released.
