00:00The one regret I've got is going up there to see him and my mum, because I had to social
00:06distance, I had to go and stand in the garden. I wasn't even allowed in the house, you know what
00:10I mean? But there's no way I was not going to go and see my dad. So I drove up
00:13on my own and went to the garden. And he sat in a chair outside the back door and I
00:21was sat the other side of the garden. And I didn't hug him because of the coronavirus thing and I
00:27wasn't allowed to hug him.
00:28And he passed away without me doing that. And he actually said to me, he said, if I got older,
00:33I won't be able to let go. And that was one of the last things he said to me. And
00:38it absolutely killed me. But if I know now what I know now, then I would have grabbed hold of
00:43him. But I didn't. And that was the last time I saw him. And he died within two weeks. He
00:49had another two seizures and it was getting worse.
00:51And even though it's horrible to say he wanted to go, he wanted to go without, you know, he knew
00:59the road was going to be really long.
01:00And he just said, if I want to go to sleep and not wake up.
