00:17of Hilton's three children, 13-year-old Mario, 11-year-old Mia, and 8-year-old Maite, on August 7th.
00:24Court documents show that Hilton voluntarily consented to the request,
00:27saying temporary custody with his mother is in the best interest of the children.
00:32The documents allow Lavendera to make decisions about the kids' medical and dental care,
00:36access their records, and handle their educational needs.
00:39Hilton can petition the court to have legal custody returned to him,
00:43though he may have to follow a transition plan first.
00:45Lavendera is also asking for the case to be sealed,
00:48saying the children should not face additional trauma as the family tries to heal privately.
00:53The custody filing comes after Hilton was hospitalized,
00:55following what authorities described as a live stream involving acts of self-harm,
01:00with his family later saying he remained hospitalized under Florida's Baker Act,
01:04in serious but stable condition.

01:40has metastasized to her bones and spread to her spine, right hip, and ribs.
01:45The actress, who played Dawn Tinsley on the original The Office, said the disease is incurable,
01:51and that it is now too late for chemotherapy.
