00:00and that nobody thought and nobody nobody thought it's good it's good last
00:03we have a quick question which trophy is better which one do you like champions
00:06league all day long big ears all day long it was literally just getting the ball in
00:12behind them and using the pace that's the only time i saw them weak but there are there are
00:16excuses of getting out still on away of course resting after the FIFA World Cup
00:22when Dio leading from the front the Guinness the commentators are Matt Hollands and tonight he is
00:28alongside Mark Scott
00:31Mozart can these two compose another classic
00:38Kamara he thought about it might still go for it oh
00:43not a million miles away from Boubacar Kamara that would be some way to
00:47actually didn't get much on it Nuno Mendes Kamaratskelia wants it wasn't the best of
00:52passes might still make something of it though the Georgian lays it off and Douay deflected
00:57Bizzot to the rescue great reflexes there from the Villa keeper
01:05they're coming again though Douay Kamaratskelia
01:10it's a cracker from Kamaratskelia once again
01:16last season's player of the season in the champions league
01:21rifles Paris in front in the supercar
01:31what a goal it's taken 20 minutes for Paris to create a clear-cut opportunity
01:37and it had to be that man Kavaratskelia
01:41outstanding in last season's champions league all action bundle of energy and full of talent
01:47it's
01:49half a sniff he moves the ball half a yard to create the space and unleashes a rocket
01:56Maggio loses possession again has happened too often already at the start of this game but look at that
02:01we haven't had a foray forwards for a while Maggio
02:07McGinn
02:09Maggio waiting and should be scoring what a moment that would have been for the 17 year old
02:15well I've been critical he's given the ball away cheaply on occasion
02:18this time he finds McGinn and then doesn't admire his pass he gets himself into the box
02:23John McGinn's delivered two teasing balls into the area Maggio on the end of this one should perhaps do better
02:30bent in by Buendia
02:33Tinho got a piece of it
02:35recycled to McGinn
02:38lovely stuff from John McGinn
02:40and surely no another chance for Maggio comes and goes
02:45his argument will be that he didn't see it coming until very late
02:49wonderful from John McGinn again his delivery from this right hand side has been lethal absolutely spot on again
02:57it just
03:00evades
03:03in from McGinn and this time
03:06it's tattered away by Safonov and then gathered at the second time of asking by the Russian
03:15wonderful ball in they win the first contact may well have been an offside in there
03:29somehow they managed to have left the Paris backline floundering
03:34Buendia
03:35Maggio
03:37blocked off by Pacho and then wide
03:40a third chance of the game for the 17 year old and Maggio can't make it count
03:46he's got himself into great positions
03:49good play again from Buendia to pick him out the first time
03:54McGinn
04:01McGinn
04:02Maggio again peeling away and scoring this time
04:08sensational from the 17 year old to draw Villa level against the European champions
04:21on his Villa debut
04:24Brian Maggio
04:26finds the net to make it 1-1
04:33McGinn
04:34and still John McGinn here
04:38Maggio waiting for it McGinn across
04:41didn't quite come to Jao Gomez
04:44Villa don't want the half to end now
04:49Marzen
04:53Paris fans asking for the half-time whistle
04:58Marzen with no way through
05:00Hakimi
05:05a breathless first half in Salzburg
05:09and the way that they finished was music to the ears of those Villa fans
05:18so Aston Villa get the second half underway
05:20Boyd with the way that they
05:22ended the first period
05:24Brian Maggio blasting them level
05:27they'd like to get him some minutes at least
05:31now here goes Maggio
05:33Maggio has McGinn
05:36and John McGinn
05:38it's a decent stop by Zafonov
05:41this is his early opportunity
05:44curling effort
05:45got a slight deflection
05:49goalkeeper at full stretch makes the save
06:01Nuno Mendes for Zaire Emery
06:04got a touch which actually made it quite convenient for Marco Bizzot
06:08giving it a right good go
06:19Zaire Emery was tugged back
06:27Hakimi
06:30Dembele
06:32looks offside to me the flag will stay down for now against Douai
06:36and Douai puts it in
06:38and now the flag does go up and
06:40have to say from here
06:42it looked to clear offside
06:44only the five yards
06:46Dembele again
06:47look at him dropping into that midfield position
06:49no one knows who's to
06:50lets us know that it's going to be overturned
06:52i think it is a goal
06:54and Paris are back in front
06:57Desiree Douai has done the job
07:00for the European champions
07:03who re-establish their advantage against Aston Villa
07:06once more
07:08Villa looking for the quick response
07:10Hemmings
07:11straight into Safonov
07:14Martsen then couldn't tee himself up for the strike
07:17great first touch
07:18into the space taken away from Shao Gomez
07:22Nuno Mendes now
07:23he's going to hit it
07:24beaten away
07:25Kvaratskelia messes up the rebound
07:35Nuno Mendes struggling to get back here
07:37it's across
07:38Safonov pumps it away
07:39oh what a block from Zaire Emery
07:42that is magnificent
07:45Paris with a chance to finish it once and for all here
07:49Dembele still going
07:51and didn't get the contact he wanted
07:57it's successive super cups
08:01for the simply superb Paris Saint-Germain
