00:00Today we're announcing three more people that will not be able to prey upon or put our kids at risk.
00:08Three more people that will go away behind bars for a long time, keeping our community safer.
00:15Yesterday we were up in Hillsborough County where we announced with Sheriff Chad Chronister the arrest of 116 traffickers and
00:24predators.
00:25A big summer operation that his incredible team wrapped up that, again, makes our streets safer.
00:32In the last year, we have handed out four times the punishments and sentences when it comes to child abuse,
00:41CSAM, and trafficking cases.
00:44Four times.
00:45And that is a reflection of our priority here in the state of Florida.
00:50In my office, our statewide prosecutors, priority one will always be protecting our most vulnerable, protecting our children.
00:59We will stop at nothing to get every last one of these evil people and get them away from our
01:06society.
01:06I want to thank Special Agent in Charge Eli Lawson, Commissioner Mark Glass at FDLE, and their incredible team.
01:15They spearheaded the investigative work here, utilizing technology, communication devices.
01:22Any tool we have, we will use to find these people and put them away.
01:28And I want to thank Lee County School Superintendent, Dr. Denise Carlin.
01:32Because the first individual I'm here to announce today, unfortunately, his name is Graham Freeman from Cape Coral.
01:39And he was a middle school science teacher in Lee County.
01:43I tell you, I don't think we even finished getting the words out over the phone before the school district
01:49stepped in,
01:50snapped into action, and made sure that he was removed in a way from any position where he could put
01:55kids in danger.
01:57Mr. Freeman, I'm told, had massive amounts of CSAM and child pornography.
02:04Drives and drives and binders and bins, seemingly a hoarder.
02:09And it was not, this is not light stuff.
02:11This is some of the most grotesque sex abuse content of little kids.
02:17And animals, too.
02:18Two of these guys had the sexual bestiality videos and imagery, which shows that there are some people, they're deviants.
02:28They're so screwed up that they want the next thing.
02:31It starts as imagery.
02:32It's children.
02:33It's babies.
02:34It's then animals.
02:36And the correlation is strong that at some point it evolves into actual physical sexual abuse of kids.
02:42And that's why we are seeking the longest terms of sentence that we can under Florida law for these cases.
