00:27I think that still qualifies as a massive deal.

00:34and Northern Hemisphere.

00:37That's not that big of a deal.

00:40It's a little bit south and east of Arizona,

01:25I think that's too huge of a deal.

01:30And then kind of past that prime meridian line
01:33that goes through England, sort of Western Europe.
01:36You're going very geography class.
01:36But that's kind of my point here.
01:37If you go beyond those things,
01:39it's now like, all right, you're going to fly Monday,
01:41but it's really Tuesday there.
01:42And when you land, it's going to be yesterday.
01:44And your body clocks and everything else.
01:46And this is just a regular week of the season?
01:48It just seems too much to do beyond a special occasion.
01:51I'll get back to the topic at hand in a second.
01:54But speaking of the international travel
01:55and how insane it is,
01:56have you seen the difference
01:57between the Rams and the 49ers
01:59for how they're going to handle the Australia game?
02:01I think this is crazy.
02:03So one of the teams, I believe it is the 49ers,
02:07are going out there way early.
02:10So they're going to be out there for a week, basically.
02:12Trying to acclimate.
02:13Exactly.
02:14They're going to go out.
02:14They're going to practice there.
02:15They're going to live there.
02:16They're going to just chill.
02:17And they're going to try to see some koala bears
02:18and get bitten by spiders and do all that stuff.
02:20There's so many of those.
02:21The Rams are acting like they're playing the game in D.C.
02:26They're flying out the night before.
02:28I mean, you can't fly in a night.
02:30So it's like three nights before almost.
02:31Exactly.
02:32But it's like, what is that, Tobes?
02:33You lived there.
02:34It was like a 17-hour flight or whatever.
02:35It's asinine.
02:36But they're going to land, basically,
02:38get off the plane, go to bed,
02:41wake up, play the game, and then fly back.
02:43They're acting like it's a cross-country flight.
02:47And so whatever happens in the game,
02:49people are going to have the takeaway of that team did it right.
02:51The 49ers acclimated or they were there too long.
02:54The Rams, by not taking it overly seriously
02:56and just business as usual and sleeping on the plane
02:59because they get the ginormous plane
03:01and everyone has the room to lay out
03:02and everyone will be in a bed
03:04and basically rolls backwards, I'm sure.
03:06They'll spare no expense.
03:08Kroenke's going to take care of the guys.
03:10But they're going to just get off the plane,
03:12play football, come back.
03:13And so whoever wins will say that that's the way to do it.
03:16But I do find it completely fascinating
03:18to see those two teams juxtaposed
03:20and how they're handling it.
03:20Well, there's no settled science on it, right?
03:23I mean, I remember there's been a million debates
03:24as to what you do when you go play Denver.
03:26Do you fly in at the least,
03:29the last possible second you can
03:31and expose yourself the least amount
03:33to the altitude and less oxygen?
03:35Or do you go there as early as you possibly can
03:37to acclimate to it?
03:38Teams still debate that all the time.
03:40And nobody knows the answer.
03:40Right, there's no one way to do it.
03:42I do feel like, personally,
03:45the more you can adjust, the better.
03:48Not just from a time zone standpoint,
03:50but getting over there.
03:52If you can set up camp and just be there,
03:55the same way when Washington, remember,
03:57played, like went out to the West Coast
03:59to play the Cardinals and some other team
04:01back-to-back, they just stayed out there.
04:02I think the idea of just being there,
04:05posting up, no distractions,
04:07being in a hotel, having practice every day,
04:10you're there for five days,
04:12so your body clock's adjusted.

06:13The league's bluffing
06:15because they want stadium deals.
06:17And they want the cities
06:19that have the stadium deals
06:20to feel some pressure.

06:24and we will move it to London.
06:26We will get the best stadium

06:28in another country
06:29where we don't have to worry
06:30about the financials at all.
06:32I think that's really
06:33what this is.
06:34At the core of it,

07:40They want access to that.
07:41They want these spending,

07:44you get a taste of it.
