00:01Parti Bangsa Malaysia President Larry Sung has urged reform-minded MPs to
00:06remain in Parliament until it is dissolved amid speculation that another
00:11PKR leader could leave the party. In a Facebook post, Sung said MPs planning to
00:16quit their party should wait, as the government still needs a two-thirds
00:20majority in the Dewan Rakyat to pass constitutional amendments. The Julao MP
00:25also urged them to continue serving their constituents for the rest of their
00:29terms. His remarks followed Pataling Jaya MP Lee Chien Chung's warning that his
00:34constituency could be left without an MP after PKR failed to take disciplinary
00:39action against him. Lee was among several PKR MPs barred from Maihas, which manages
00:45parliamentary allocations. He also attended the May 17 launch of Bursama, led by
00:50Rafizi Ramli and Niknazmi Nik Ahmed. The Pataling Jaya MP defended attending the
00:55event despite still being a PKR member, saying he should be free to attend
00:59programmes in his own constituency. Lee resigned from PKR Central Leadership
01:04Council in June, but had said he would remain in the party and continue serving
01:09as MP until Parliament is dissolved. Jessalyn Kaur, FMT.
