00:00We're talking about knowledge of the future in movies, YouTube channel, Easter Egg Psychic.
00:05I recently did some videos sharing, apparently, predictive Easter eggs and future references
00:11present in the 1932 gangster film Scarface.
00:17This would be to director Brian De Palma, who remade Scarface with Al Pacino in 83,
00:23and also actor Tom Cruise, who became attached to the revived movie franchise based around the Mission Impossible TV series.
00:33De Palma, of course, directed the first film in this series in 1996.
00:39Others in this included John Voight, Henry Cerny, Jean Reno Vingrams, Kristen Scott Thomas, Amelia Estevez, and Vanessa Redgrave.
00:48This is the first installment of an eight-movie series, and the latest is due out next month, 2025.
00:56This is titled The Final Reckoning.
00:59Now, classic horror movie actor Boris Karloff has a part in Scarface 32.
01:06He is, of course, known for his roles in Universal's Frankenstein in 1931 and The Mummy in 1932.
01:15I recently had a chance to see some of The Mummy, and I believe there may be another future nod
01:21to both De Palma and Tom Cruise in this.
01:25The scene that starts around the 9 minute, 42 second mark.
01:30Sir Joseph Wimple's archaeology assistant, Ralph Norton, played by Fletcher, translates and recites an ancient Egyptian scroll.
01:39By reading the words aloud, this causes The Mummy, Imhotep, played by Karloff, to awaken from the dead.
01:49And at the 12 minute, 3 second mark, you'll see a paper with some hieroglyphics sitting on a table with
01:57the handprint of The Mummy.
01:59I thought this possibly an idiom-based reference to the name of director Brian De Palma.
02:06A synonym for the inside of a person's hand is also a palm, a P-A-L-M.
02:12This cast consisted of Zeta Johan, David Manners, Edward Van Sloan, Arthur Byron, and Bramwell Fletcher.
02:22So really, Tom Cruise starred in a 2017 adaptation of Universal's The Mummy.
02:29And also in this were Annabella Wallace, Sophia Boutella, Jake Johnson, Courtney B. Vance, Russell Crowe.
02:36My YouTube channel is Easter Egg Psychic. There I go back and look at movies and television from the past.
02:42I analyze these for possible references to future media.
02:45These may appear in the form of anecdotes, idioms, anagrams, hidden in the subtext of the work in question.
02:52I also use an unconventional method where I look at the likenesses of the actors.
02:59And what I found is you can take the likenesses, match these up to some of the anecdotal items,
03:05and show past, present, and future information about actors and other personalities
03:11that you may resemble the personalities in the movie or television episode that you're watching.

03:25Thanks for watching.
