00:16today. Following the President's recent executive order, the Marine Corps moved out smartly to
00:21establish the COVID-19 reinstatement cell and create a clear, streamlined path for eligible
00:27Marines to return the service. We didn't simply meet the intent of the executive order, we
00:31trailblazed this effort across the Department of the Navy, setting the standard of excellence for how
00:36eligible service members can return the service through deliberate planning, personal outreach,
00:41and an unwavering commitment to our ethos and core values. Our team personally contacted 100% of the
00:483,748 eligible veteran Marines, ensuring every Marine understood the process and had a clear
00:55opportunity to return. Most importantly, since the executive order was signed, we've welcomed 53
01:02Marines back into the Marine Corps, restoring experienced warfighters to our ranks and
01:07strengthening the readiness of our force. Today, the Marine Corps continues to exceed its recruiting and
01:14retention goals because Americans still want to take up the challenge of earning title Marines,
01:18and Marines still want to stay on the team and end the fight. Our readiness is strong, but so is
01:23our
01:23commitment to ensuring eligible veteran Marines have the opportunity to return. If you still meet
