00:00I was just going to mention one thing that, as a reporter, you do is you talk to both sides.
00:05So the Patriots, obviously, last week were having joint practices with the Colts.
00:11You're here, and you talk to people here all the time.
00:14But you had a chance to talk to the Colts, and what were some of the takeaways you got from
00:18talking to the Colts?
00:19Well, that's something I normally do, too, Joe.
00:22For example, the Browns quarterback competition, I talk to the Bears people about the Browns quarterback.
00:30To get a gauge on that, because they played against each other.
00:33They practiced against each other last week.
00:37I did the same thing with the Falcons and the Broncos.
00:40So the Falcons have a quarterback competition.
00:42I talk to the Broncos people.
00:43Then I talk to the Colts people this week because they practice with the Falcons.
00:47So I'm trying to get a gauge on not only where Atlanta's at in their quarterback position,
00:52but what the other team and other coaches saw when they got to see them in that setting.
00:58And with the Colts, the one thing that really stuck out to me, and I said it on the midday
01:02show,
01:03which is why you're bringing it up, is the Patriots' skill looked really, really good against them.
01:08And that stuck out to me because, I mean, holy crap, is that 0-60?
01:13I mean, they were terrible in that area two years ago.
01:15Maybe the worst in the league.
01:16And to go from point A to point B that fast, I think, is really impressive.
01:22And I think it's like a mosaic of free agent pickups, draft and develop, and obviously the trade for AJ.
01:32You sign Romeo Dobbs.
01:34You have some guys that you've developed internally.
01:37Pop Douglas would be in that category.
01:38I guess Efton Chisholm, if you want to include him.
01:42You know, Matt Collins is a free agent signing.
01:44Hunter Henry is a free agent signing.
01:46Eli Raritan is a draft pick.
01:48Trey Vion Henderson and Ramondre Stevenson are homegrown.
01:51So I think there's a good mix, but it's happened so fast.
01:55You know what I mean?
01:56That they've gone from one of the worst in the league to potentially one of the best in the league.
