00:22And it's like there's a bias towards Wilson Contreras where people are like, oh, it's OK that he's able to
00:29stick up for himself, but Jaron Duran isn't.
00:31So it's like a bigger conversation. Well, because there's a history. There's a like there's yelling the F word to
00:36fans.
00:37There's flipping off people. There's a far longer series of events that that Jaron Duran has been a part of
00:43over several years.
00:44Yeah, I just think that there must be something going on in this clubhouse where they're sick of how fans
00:49are dealing with them.
00:50Or they're just sensitive losers that can't handle it.

01:26booed was like, you know, he didn't care.
01:27He's like Boston fans are passionate. They always have been.
01:31They hold us to a certain standard. And I liked that he responded in that way.
01:35I don't know. I just the whole thing I find very interesting.
01:40The way in which fans feel that they can speak to players in this in this moment.
01:44Yeah, I think what they're saying to players now pales in comparison to what players were really not even in
01:50the same stratosphere, not even in the same like if there was a Red Sox player who stood up on
01:56the dugout and was yelling at a fan 20 years ago, they would be uniformly mocked by everybody in the

02:03Everybody. They would say, what are you deal? Like, are you kidding me?
02:07They booed Ted Williams and you can't handle it? Like, it is so laughable, especially when we have people that
02:16called in a month or two ago where Jaron Duran was going out of his way to pick a fight

02:24Like, getting people tossed. I'm sorry. If somebody spends $300 and we all know the things that you can say
02:29that should get you kicked out of a park and we are in full agreement, like there's a line you
02:33don't cross.
02:34We're all on the same page. But if you're just saying you stink, like that's part of the business.
02:39Like, we get told we stink four hours a day, every day. And it's, you know, that's life.
02:45And I just find it to be so pathetic that like you're making $20 million a year and you have
02:5234,000 fans that love you and one person who says you're batting average and you want to stand up
02:57on the top of the dugout and get them tossed.

03:56They traded Rafael Devers for inferior players, players that never materialized, and the Giants have gotten worse and you've gotten

05:23So I think for that, that still stings a little bit, because imagine if he was here now, and he

05:33And then when Roman Anthony comes back, he plays left field.
05:35Jaron Durant can sit on the bench and cry about his batting average there instead of on the field.
05:40But I think, ultimately, he will get booed.
