00:36actions or beliefs. The NSL was implemented in 2020. It significantly expanded the powers of
00:42both the Chinese and Hong Kong governments within Hong Kong. The former Hong Kong Alliance had led
00:47yearly commemorations of the 1989 crackdown for decades in Hong Kong until the enactment of the NSL.
