00:00Well, you know, I kind of wear my emotions on my sleeve.
00:05I have a tough time hiding them.
00:07And Ben's a little bit, he's been that way.
00:10And I was only there a week and a half ago.
00:12And there's, you know, the soft tissue injuries, you know,
00:18they drive coaches crazy because nobody really sees anything.
00:22You know what I mean?
00:23I mean, if a guy tears up his knee or he has a separated shoulder or something,
00:27it's real.
00:29You know, you can leave.
00:31But, boy, but these injuries that nothing visible, you know,
00:36the coaches can't see anything in the players, it's frustrating.
00:41And that's where they're at right now.
00:43I can tell you a week and a half ago, they were given the same answers.
00:48They were given the same answers.
00:49And it was frustration that I was reading.
00:51And it sounds, it almost sounds like they moved on with the rookie
00:55and they're going to just go with them.
00:57And, you know, in one week's time to go out there and play, I mean,
01:06now you're getting into that danger zone of, boy, now you will get hurt
01:10because you haven't been practicing.
01:11You know what I mean?
01:12So it's tough.
01:15It's frustrating.
01:16I'm sure it's frustrating for the kid.
01:17Unless he just lost his desire to play, I don't know.
01:22I mean, you know, you know.
01:24You always hear that, Dave.
01:26Dave, you always hear the criticism.
01:28Such an indictment.
01:29The player, he has to be perfect to play.
01:33If he feels something, and I'm not saying this is the case.
01:35But that's kind of the way we've turned it.
01:38That's a heck of a label.
01:39It's a hard one to shake.
01:41Boy, he doesn't play that way, though, guys.
01:43You know, and being a safety and a nickel, David, you can relate.
01:48I mean, this guy is a blitzer.
01:50This guy is not a guy that says, I'm being paid.
01:53I've had corners that say, I'm being paid to cover.
01:57He doesn't play soft.
01:58No, he doesn't.
01:59Whoa, guy says that.
02:00But he doesn't play.
02:02Yeah, this guy's a tough guy.
02:04You see him blitz.
02:05You see him tackle.
02:06He plays the game physical.
02:09That's what's really kind of a mystery in this whole thing.
