Prime Video plans to invest more than $2 billion in Latin America through 2030, expanding local originals, sports rights and streaming subscriptions.

00:02Prime Video plans to invest more than $2 billion in Latin America between 2027 and 2030,
00:08as it expands local programming and sports offerings across Mexico,
00:12Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Chile, according to Reuters.
00:17The company plans to more than double the number of local originals produced across
00:21the five countries from 2026, with more than 25 new titles coming in 2027.
00:27Prime Video also said it now offers more than 200 NBA games per season in Brazil and Mexico,
00:33and has brought the league to Argentina, Colombia, and Chile for the first time.
00:37Beginning next month, Prime Video will carry 38 Mexico national team home matches over four years.
00:43The company will also expand third-party streaming subscriptions and premium rentals
00:48and purchases to additional Latin American countries later this year.
