00:00I pity food!
00:03I'm not just some phony, fake celebrity or fictitious hero.
00:08I'm real life.
00:12I was not born Mr. T.
00:15People don't know the road I had to travel.
00:18I was born in the Robert Taylor Project.
00:21You gotta be tough in the hood.
00:23Growing up I watched my father being called Boy.
00:26I ordained myself Mr. T.
00:28So the first word out of everybody's mouth would be Mr.
00:32That's a sign of respect my father didn't get.
00:35Casting director called me.
00:36Guess what, you got the part for Rocky III.
00:40Man, what an honor.
00:42I'll never forget the moment I saw Mr. T.
00:45The earrings, the chains, the mohawk.
00:48I was like, who, how?
00:51Yeah.
00:52He is a cultural icon.
00:55I love it when a plan comes together.
00:57It is a kid who they said wouldn't be nothing.
01:01I said, mother, I'm meeting the president.
01:05This guy is a real life superhero.
01:09Everywhere he went, say I pity the fool.
01:12You have to remain in character or they gonna turn you into a caricature.
01:16I pity the fool.
01:17Be strong.
01:19Be strong.
01:19Have I not commanded thee to be strong?
01:22I'm a businessman.
01:22I do not know.
01:22No.
01:23No.
01:25No.
01:27No.
