00:14and in one 24-hour period, he just negotiated a guy to leave the NFL to go back to college,
00:22Tom. That's the floodgate that has been opened up here, where agents are now recommending and
00:29buying guys out of the chance of making NFL teams or at least making some sort of paycheck
00:35to go back and make six and seven figures in college. I never thought we would see it,
00:43but there are guys that were just the last month and a half on an NFL team that could very
00:49well be
00:50on the sideline in college football this season. Tell me they haven't lost the plot here.
00:56They have beyond that, and I say, oh, it's a fifth year. If you have a fifth year,
01:02you can use the fifth year regardless, and we saw this in the NBA. I forget the player's name. He
01:07was on Charlotte Hornets. He played only a handful of games in the G League. He's going back to
01:11college. I think it's crazy. I think if you get drafted into the NBA, I don't care if you have
01:17four years left, five years left of eligibility. As soon as you get drafted, you forfeit those
01:21years, and that's fine. Now, people are going to say, well, what if he goes undrafted? Could he go
01:27back? Maybe I could be open to that. It was like, okay, if you actually are undrafted, but if you
01:31get
01:32drafted and you sign a contract, that's it. It's over. You forfeit the rest of your three years,
01:38two years of eligibility, and you have to stay there. Whether you go on a practice squad,
01:43you have to go to the CFL or whatever it is, it's over. Once they open Pandora's box,
01:48it has been incredibly insane with the constant reports that we see in a judge ruling this player
01:55is eligible, he's ineligible, the NCAA changes this, that, and the other thing. We've totally
02:00lost the plot at this point. It really has. I mean, when you got guys like Drew Rosenhaus that
02:07you spent 30 years negotiating deals for guys to leave college and become pros, now you're
02:14negotiating deals for them to leave the pros to go back to college. I never thought I would see it
02:22here. But, of course, Lane Kiffin plays a role in this somehow. Of course, he does always.
