00:16We're forging a small Viking anchor and we're using techniques identical to what
00:23would have been used at the time. Those techniques have been determined from
00:27x-ray geography and various analyses and the material we're using is what's known
00:34as bloomery iron so that's the material that they would have been using as well.
01:00It's not the steel that has been made in a steel mill somewhere, it is iron that has
01:06been smelted so even the fuel we're using everything is a lot more historical even
01:11the location we are at.
01:27You don't need to have a great sort of fantasy to see the Viking ships coming and sailing to
01:36here and maybe try to attack the place or trying to start the raid to England or to Ireland
01:45or whatever they want to raid.
