00:03All praise belongs to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon his final messenger, Muhammad
00:08peace be upon him.
00:10Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was the final messenger of Allah.
00:13Allah sent him as a mercy to all of mankind.
00:17Allah says in the Quran, and we have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds.
00:22Quran 21.107
00:24Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was born in Mecca in the year of the elephant.
00:28What is authentically established through hadith is that he peace be upon him was born on
00:33a Monday.
00:34Abu Qatada, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the messenger of Allah peace
00:39be upon him was asked about fasting on Monday, and he said, that is the day on which I was
00:44born and the day on which revelation was sent down to me.

00:49However, the exact date of his birth being 12th of Rabbi al-Awl is not established by an
00:55authentic hadith with certainty.
00:56Therefore, it should not be presented as a definitively proven date.
01:01His father Abdullah had already passed away before his birth.
01:05Allah refers to the Prophet's state of orphanhood in the Quran.
01:08Did he not find you an orphan and give you shelter?

01:13His mother was Amina bint Wab.
01:16Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him spent his early life in Mecca.
01:20He grew up as an orphan.
01:21After the death of his mother, his grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, cared for him.
01:26After his grandfather passed away, his uncle Abu Talib took responsibility for him.
01:31Even before receiving prophethood, Muhammad peace be upon him was known among his people
01:36for his truthfulness and trustworthiness.
01:38Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him married Khadijah radiallahu anha, who was his first wife.
01:44She stood firmly beside him during the most difficult period of his life.
01:49When the first revelation came and the Prophet peace be upon him returned home, deeply shaken,
01:54Khadijah radiallahu anha comforted him and reminded him of his excellent character.
01:59She told him that Allah would never disgrace him because he maintained family ties, helped
02:04the poor and needy, supported the weak, and assisted people in times of difficulty.
02:08This incident is recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari.
02:13When Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him reached the age of 40, the beginning of his prophethood
02:18came.
02:18He would spend time worshipping Allah in the cave of Hira.
02:22One day, Angel Jibreel alayhi salam came to him and said,
02:25Read.
02:26The opening verses of Surah al-Alaq were then revealed,
02:29Read in the name of your Lord who created.
02:32He created man from a clinging substance.
02:34Read, and your Lord is the most generous.
02:37Quran 96.1-3
02:39The details of this event are authentically reported in Sahih al-Bukhari through the narration
02:44of Aisha radiallahu anha.
02:46After this, the Prophet peace be upon him returned to Khadijah radiallahu anha, who took
02:51him to Waraka ibn Naufil.
02:53Waraka recognized that the angel who had come to him was the same angel who had come to Musa
02:58alayhi salam.
02:59The messenger of Allah began calling the people to worship Allah alone.
03:02His message was,
03:04There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.
03:10The leaders of Mecca strongly opposed his message.
03:13The Prophet and his companions were subjected to severe persecution, but he continued calling
03:18people towards the truth.
03:20Allah says,
03:20So remind, for you are only a reminder.
03:24Quran 88.21
03:25And Allah says,
03:27Your duty is only to convey clearly.
03:29Quran 16.82
03:31Among the earliest people to accept Islam were Khadijah radiallahu anha, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq
03:37radiallahu anha, Ali ibn Abi Talib radiallahu anha, and Zayd ibn Haritha radiallahu anha.
03:43As persecution increased, some Muslims migrated to Abyssinia.
03:47The Muslims explained their beliefs before the Negus, the Christian ruler of Abyssinia.
03:52When the Quran was recited to him, he granted the Muslims protection.
03:56The Quraysh imposed a social and economic boycott against the Prophet, peace be upon him and
04:01his clan.
04:02The Muslims and Banu Hashim endured extremely difficult circumstances.
04:07Despite these hardships, the messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, continued calling
04:11people towards Allah.
04:13Two important supporters of the Prophet, peace be upon him, passed away.
04:17His wife Khadijah radiallahu anha and his uncle Abu Talib.
04:21The death of Khadijah radiallahu anha was a great loss because she had been a major source
04:26of support and comfort for him, peace be upon him.
04:29The Prophet, peace be upon him, traveled to Ta'if to invite its people to Islam, but they
04:35rejected his message and treated him harshly.
04:37Even in this difficult situation, he, peace be upon him, turned to Allah and sought his
04:42help, rather than seeking personal revenge.
04:45His life teaches us patience, wisdom, perseverance, and reliance upon Allah.
04:51Allah honored his messenger with a miraculous journey.
04:54Allah says,
04:55Glory be to him who took his servant by night from Al-Masjid Al-Haram to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.
05:00Quran 17.1
05:02The Prophet, peace be upon him, was then taken through the heavens.
05:06The authentic hadith contained details of this journey.
05:09During this event, the five daily prayers were prescribed, Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
05:14As the persecution in Mecca became increasingly severe, the Prophet, peace be upon him, migrated
05:20to Medina by the command of Allah.
05:22Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, accompanied him.
05:26The Quran refers to their stay in the cave.
05:29When the two were in the cave, when he said to his companion,
05:32Do not grieve, indeed, Allah is with us.

05:36This demonstrates the Prophet's peace be upon him, complete trust in Allah.
05:41The messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, arrived in Medina, where a new Muslim community
05:46was established.
05:47The Battle of Badr was the first major battle between the Muslims and the Quraysh.
05:51The Muslims were greatly outnumbered, but Allah granted them victory.
05:55Allah says,
05:57And Allah had already given you victory at Badr while you were few in number.

06:03Badr became a great sign of Allah's support for the believers.
06:07The Battle of Uhud followed.
06:09The Muslims faced a severe trial.
06:12The Prophet, peace be upon him, was injured, and many of his companions were martyred.
06:17The Quran taught the believers important lessons concerning obedience, patience, discipline,
06:22and perseverance.
06:23A large coalition of tribes gathered to attack Medina.
06:27The Muslims dug a trench around parts of the city as a defensive measure.
06:31This became known as the Battle of the Trench, or Battle of Al-Azab.
06:36Allah helped the Muslims and the enemy forces eventually withdrew.
06:40The Prophet, peace be upon him, and his companions traveled towards Makkah intending to perform
06:45Umrah.
06:45The Quraysh prevented them from entering Makkah.
06:48Eventually, a treaty was agreed upon at Hudaybiyyah.
06:51Although some of its conditions initially appeared difficult for the Muslims, Allah described this
06:56treaty as a clear victory.
06:58Indeed, we have granted you a clear victory.
07:01Quran 48.1
07:03The treaty later proved extremely important for the spread of Islam.
07:07The campaign of Kaibar took place after Hudaybiyyah.
07:10The Prophet gave the banner to Ali ibn Abi Talib r.a. and Allah granted victory through him.
07:16This incident is recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
07:20The Messenger of Allah sent letters to various rulers inviting them to Islam.
07:25His message was not limited to one nation, tribe, or race.
07:29Allah says,
07:30And we have not sent you except to all mankind as a bearer of good news and a warner.
07:35Eventually, the time came when the Prophet, peace be upon him, entered Makkah as its victorious
07:40leader.
07:41This was the same city whose people had persecuted him, opposed his message, and forced him to
07:47leave.
07:47Yet the Prophet, peace be upon him, did not make his victory an opportunity for personal
07:52revenge.
07:53Makkah was conquered and the symbols of idolatry around the Kaaba were removed.
07:58Allah says,
07:59When the help of Allah and the victory come.
08:01The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, did not make victory an opportunity for personal
08:06revenge.
08:07After the conquest of Makkah, the Battle of Hunayn took place.
08:11At the beginning, the Muslims faced difficulty, despite their large numbers.
08:15Allah then granted them his help.
08:18Allah says,
08:20Allah has already given you victory in many regions and on the day of Hunayn, when your
08:24great numbers pleased you, but they did not benefit you at all.

08:30During the later part of the Prophet's life, the expedition of Tabuk took place.
08:35It was a difficult test because of the extreme heat, the long journey, and financial hardship.
08:40Nevertheless, the companions made great sacrifices in obedience to Allah and His Messenger.
08:46In the final year of his life, the Prophet, peace be upon him, performed Hajj.
08:50This became known as the Farewell Hajj.
08:53During this Hajj, the Prophet, peace be upon him, taught the people about the rights of
08:57Allah, the rights of other people, justice, the prohibition of oppression, and many other
09:03important principles.
09:04Around this period, Allah revealed,
09:06Today I have perfected for you your religion, completed my favor upon you, and have approved
09:12for you Islam as your religion.
09:14Quran 5.3
09:15After the Farewell Hajj, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, returned to Medina.
09:21Some time later, he became seriously ill.
09:24During his final illness, he repeatedly emphasized the importance of prayer.
09:28In Sahih al-Bukhari, Anas radiallahu anhu reported that during his illness, the Prophet lifted the
09:33curtain, looked at his companions while they were praying, and smiled.
09:37The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, spent his final days in the home of Aisha radiallahu
09:43anha.
09:44According to authentic narrations in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, Aisha radiallahu
09:50anha reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, passed away while leaning against
09:54her.
09:54He, peace be upon him, passed away on a Monday.
09:57The Prophet, peace be upon him, was 63 years old.
10:01Among his final words were,
10:03O Allah, with the highest companion.
10:06Allahumma Rafiq al-Allah
10:07He, peace be upon him, then returned to his Lord.
10:11The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, left this world.
10:14But the religion brought by him remains until the Day of Judgment.
10:17He called mankind from shirk to tawhid, from injustice to justice, from ignorance to knowledge,
10:23and from disobedience to obedience to Allah.
10:26Allah says, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets.
10:31Allah also says, Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah, you have an excellent example.
10:37True love for the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, is not merely expressed through
10:42slogans.
10:42It means following his authentic sunnah, obeying Allah, establishing prayer, maintaining tawhid,
10:49developing good character, and following the guidance that he, peace be upon him, brought.
10:54May Allah enable us to understand and follow the authentic sunnah of his Messenger, peace
10:58be upon him, and grant us his intercession on the Day of Judgment.
11:03Allahumma salli wa sallim wa barik ala nabiyyina Muhammad, peace be upon him.
