00:00:01I won't let them drag Grandpa into this.
00:00:03The stress would kill him.
00:00:05Fine. I'll do it.
00:00:11Cole Lockwood.
00:00:13Guy Breed, I swear on Anna's death.
00:00:16I'll make you pay for every single second.
00:00:21Second per killer walks free.
00:00:23You can't talk to us like that.
00:00:25Vanessa, once we repay this debt,
00:00:28once this is over,
00:00:29we'll treat you like our princess again.
00:00:31You want the moon?
00:00:32We'll bring it down for you.
00:00:34No.
00:00:36From this day forward, we're done.
00:00:39You pay your debt,
00:00:40I'll avenge my sister.
00:00:47We're on opposite sides now.
00:00:49Vanessa,
00:00:51why do you look at me as if I'm a stranger?
00:00:53Have I really lost you this time?
00:00:56Someone had to knock that princess attitude out of her eventually.
00:01:01Are you out of your mind?
00:01:02Why the hell did you hit me?
00:01:03Vanessa is a princess.
00:01:04She doesn't need to change a damn thing.
00:01:11I'm sorry,
00:01:12Mr. and Mrs. Windsor.
00:01:14I'll fix everything.
00:01:16I swear it.
00:01:24Once you apologize,
00:01:26it will all be over.
00:01:39I'm sorry.
00:01:40For any trouble,
00:01:41I may have caused
00:01:42Mr. Richard Pierce.
00:01:48Mrs. Winston,
00:01:49don't do this.
00:01:50It wasn't you
00:01:51who committed a crime.
00:01:52It was Anna.
00:01:53We don't blame your family.
00:01:56What did you just say?
00:01:57My sister never committed any crime.
00:01:59How dare you drag her name
00:02:01through the dirt?
00:02:02Mrs. Wilson,
00:02:03I understand you're grieving.
00:02:06But your sister,
00:02:08she was wild.
00:02:09She stalked me.
00:02:10She begged me to be her secret lover.
00:02:13When I refused,
00:02:14she went crazy.
00:02:15I feared for my life.
00:02:17Liar!
00:02:18Oh, my bad.
00:02:20I shouldn't have said that.
00:02:27Mrs. Windsor,
00:02:28just to confirm,
00:02:29you're saying Mr. Richard Pierce
00:02:30is completely innocent
00:02:31and had nothing to do
00:02:32with your sister Anna's death?
00:02:36Be smart.
00:02:38Think of your grandpa.
00:02:39If you want to protect
00:02:40the only family you have left,
00:02:42you'll say Richard is innocent.
00:02:55Yes.
00:02:57Richard is innocent.
00:03:05I'm Vanessa Winston.
00:03:07Tonight is my 28th birthday.
00:03:10All my life,
00:03:11I truly believed
00:03:11I was the luckiest woman
00:03:13in the world
00:03:13because I had three guardian angels
00:03:15who loved me
00:03:17so completely.
00:03:19Happy birthday, Vanessa.
00:03:23That's my husband,
00:03:24Cole Lockwood,
00:03:25a legend in the courtroom.
00:03:27They call him
00:03:28the devil of the bar.
00:03:30But,
00:03:31but this so-called devil
00:03:32keeps all his tenderness
00:03:34just for me.
00:03:38And my best friend
00:03:40and childhood sweetheart,
00:03:42Gabe Reed,
00:03:42to protect me,
00:03:44he pushed himself
00:03:45to ace every exam
00:03:46and became
00:03:47the youngest detective
00:03:48in the history
00:03:49of the force.
00:03:52Vanessa!
00:03:53And last,
00:03:54but the most precious of all,
00:03:56my little sister,
00:03:57Anna Windsor.
00:03:59She always had
00:04:00such a natural talent
00:04:01for management
00:04:02so that I could chase
00:04:03my dreams in the arts.
00:04:05She stepped in
00:04:06and took over
00:04:07the entire Windsor business
00:04:08right after she graduated.
00:04:12I thought my life
00:04:13would stay this happy
00:04:14forever.
00:04:16But,
00:04:17everything fell apart
00:04:18in a way
00:04:19I never could have.
00:04:20Sister Anna
00:04:21was murdered
00:04:22on my birthday.
00:04:24Anna!
00:04:27Don't scare me like this!
00:04:30I've got you!
00:04:33Wake up!
00:04:35Please!
00:04:36Wake up!
00:04:40Emma!
00:05:03He killed my sister!
00:05:06He's the murderer!
00:05:08I want him dead!
00:05:16The murderer was caught on the spot.
00:05:18The evidence was undeniable.
00:05:21The people I trusted were all here.
00:05:25But I never saw it coming.
00:05:27To date, none of Mr. Pierce's DNA has been found on the victim, Anna Winsley.
00:05:34Therefore, Your Honor, the defense requests that Richard Pierce be found not guilty.
00:05:39No, no!
00:05:41The evidence is insufficient.
00:05:43This court hereby declares Richard Pierce not guilty.
00:05:46He is free to go.
00:05:48No!
00:05:49No!
00:05:54No!
00:05:56Cole!
00:05:57You're my husband!
00:05:59Anna was your sister, too!
00:06:02How dare you defend the man who killed her!
00:06:05Vanessa, stop!
00:06:06This is a court rule.
00:06:08They'll hold you in contempt.
00:06:09How can I calm down?
00:06:10My husband defended my sister's murderer!
00:06:13I screamed for answers.
00:06:16But Gabe Reed dragged me out before I could get a single one.
00:06:20And they did all of this for one reason.
00:06:22The killer was Madison's brother.
00:06:43Honey, this is a mutual release and non-prosecution agreement.
00:06:46Sign it.
00:06:47Knowledge, Richard Pierce Innocence.
00:06:49This ends today.
00:06:56Vanessa, this ends here.
00:06:59No charges, no claims, no future accusations.
00:07:04From today on, Anna's death was nothing but an accident.
00:07:13An accident?
00:07:16You saw the autopsy!
00:07:18Anna was stabbed 19 times!
00:07:2219 Cole!
00:07:23Do you have any idea how much she suffered?
00:07:27How terrified she was?
00:07:29You call that an accident?
00:07:31Do you even have a heart?
00:07:37Why are you doing this?
00:07:39What spell did she cast to make you protect her family like this?
00:07:43If I had known her brother would kill my sister,
00:07:46I never would have let her into my home as a maid!
00:07:55Vanessa, stop acting like a child!
00:07:58Three years ago, during that hiking trip,
00:08:00Cole and I fell off a cliff.
00:08:01If Madison hadn't dragged us out, we'd be dead!
00:08:04Madison shattered her arm, saving us.
00:08:06All she's asking now is that we protect the only family she has left.
00:08:11We owe her!
00:08:13You're saying she saved you?
00:08:25Found you.
00:08:27Finally.
00:08:28You're safe now.
00:08:33Rich kids coming out here for thrills again?
00:08:37Dying in the woods is what they deserve.
00:08:42Guess this is my lucky day.
00:08:50Was it you?
00:08:51Did you save us?
00:08:52They're loaded.
00:08:53Maybe they could change my life.
00:08:56Yes.
00:08:56I saved you.
00:08:58I was the one who saved you!
00:09:00It was me!
00:09:01That snake lied to you!
00:09:03Enough!
00:09:08You were going to hit me for her?
00:09:11Vanessa, when Cole and I woke up, the first person we saw was Madison.
00:09:17And now you're twisting the story?
00:09:20Vanessa, Gabe and I owe Madison our lives.
00:09:24And you, as the woman we cherish, should stand with us, not against us.
00:09:33Sweetie, just sign it, okay?
00:09:35Sign it, and this all ends.
00:09:38Gabe and I will still treat you like our princess.
00:09:42I'm not signing anything.
00:09:46Her brother killed my sister.
00:09:50He will pay for it.
00:09:57Ma'am, I know how you see me.
00:10:00My brother and I, we're nothing.
00:10:03Our lives mean nothing to someone like you.
00:10:06If someone has to die for your sister, let it be me.
00:10:09Madison!
00:10:14Madison, stop.
00:10:15Don't do this to yourself.
00:10:18Vanessa, how can you be so cold?
00:10:20You just stand there while she's on her knees?
00:10:23It's fine, Gabe.
00:10:24Vanessa's a princess.
00:10:25Our lives aren't worth much to people like her.
00:10:28Enough!
00:10:29You will sign it.
00:10:30I've already spoken to the top firms in the country.
00:10:32Even if you refuse, no lawyer will ever take your case again.
00:10:41You, listen to me.
00:10:45I am Vanessa Wensington.
00:10:49I will have justice for my sister's murder.
00:10:53I will make every single one of you regret this.
00:11:01I will make every single one of you regret this.
00:11:07How could she do that?
00:11:09It's one thing if she hates me, but hitting you?
00:11:13That's too much.
00:11:15Don't touch me!
00:11:16Vanessa's my wife!
00:11:17You don't get to judge her!
00:11:19Hey, it's okay.
00:11:21Go home.
00:11:22I'll talk to Cole.
00:11:28Cole, I know you're upset.
00:11:30But you can't treat Madison like that.
00:11:33She nearly lost her arm saving us.
00:11:34You think I wanted this case?
00:11:36She hadn't saved me!
00:11:37I would have never touched it!
00:11:41Anna was our sister, too.
00:11:43I know.
00:11:44But what choice do we have?
00:11:45We owe Madison our lives.
00:11:48Once this blows over, we'll put Vanessa back where she belongs.
00:11:51She'll still be our princess.
00:11:53She loves us.
00:11:54She'll forgive us.
00:11:55Did we really do the right thing?
00:11:57There's no turning back now.
00:11:58Shutting this case down quickly is what's best for Vanessa.
00:12:01And for us.
00:12:03Call every law firm in states.
00:12:05Make sure no other firm will touch this case.
00:12:13Jackson, my wife's case is off limits.
00:12:16Don't lay a finger on it.
00:12:24Luke, it's me.
00:12:26Stay out of it.
00:12:27That's final.
00:12:35Please, you're the last person who can help me stand up to Cole and get justice for my sister's murder.
00:12:43Mrs. Winston, I admire your determination, visiting a hundred law firms in LA in three days.
00:12:48But you need to let this go.
00:12:50Your husband has this entire legal system in his pocket.
00:12:53Anyone who takes your case is declaring war on him.
00:12:55We can't risk that.
00:12:56I'll pay you anything you want.
00:12:59The Windsor family will...
00:13:00This is a down payment.
00:13:02I'll get more.
00:13:03Don't bother.
00:13:05Didn't anyone tell you?
00:13:06Your husband froze your accounts weeks ago.
00:13:09You can't access a single cent.
00:13:13No.
00:13:14No.
00:13:15No, no.
00:13:17That's impossible.
00:13:18It's my money.
00:13:19My family's money.
00:13:21My family's money.
00:13:24You must have heard it wrong.
00:13:26He can't freeze my money.
00:13:29He has no right.
00:13:30He can't do this to me.
00:13:40Princess, please.
00:13:41Without Cole and get you, she's nothing.
00:13:43I thought she was some princess who ran the show.
00:13:45Look at her now.
00:13:45Just another crazy woman.
00:13:47I heard her sister was murdered, and her husband and her best friend did not nothing.
00:13:50They even forced her to sign some gag order.
00:13:52Let go of me!
00:13:53Let go!
00:13:53That's enough!
00:13:59Vanessa?
00:14:01Ready to behave now?
00:14:08Vanessa, sign it.
00:14:10This is the last time I'm asking nicely.
00:14:13You know I have a hundred ways to make you sign.
00:14:18Sign it.
00:14:20And we can start over.
00:14:21You'll still be our princess.
00:14:22Vanessa will keep fighting, and don't expect me to stop anyone from stepping on you.
00:14:30Funny.
00:14:31The man who swore no one would ever touch me now tells me to accept being stepped on.
00:14:40Vanessa, you're better than this.
00:14:42Make peace with Madison, and everything goes back to the way it was.
00:14:52Gabe, stop.
00:14:53Please don't ruin your relationship with Mrs. Winson because of me.
00:15:00Mrs. Winson.
00:15:02I know my brother was wrong, but he's all I have.
00:15:06Please, don't take him away from me.
00:15:10Let go.
00:15:11If it makes you feel better, hit me.
00:15:13You can do whatever you want of me, as long as you forgive my brother.
00:15:17After all, some people just die when they should.
00:15:24Even if you kill me, I'll accept it.
00:15:47You said I could hit you.
00:15:51Satisfied?
00:15:55Vanessa, are you insane?
00:15:56You could have killed her.
00:15:57There are consequences.
00:16:00You're right.
00:16:01Killing someone has consequences.
00:16:04And someone is going to pay for my sister's death.
00:16:10And someone is going to pay for my sister's death.
00:16:21Mr. Lockwood, don't blame Vanessa.
00:16:24Blame me.
00:16:26I told her to do it.
00:16:28When I recover, I'll go apologize to her.
00:16:31As long as she can forgive my brother.
00:16:34Don't.
00:16:35Touch.
00:16:36Me.
00:16:40Cole, calm down.
00:16:41People are watching.
00:16:42Calm down.
00:16:43Vanessa's really hurt.
00:16:45This can't keep going this way.
00:16:47Cole, trust me.
00:16:49We're one step away from ending this.
00:16:51We'll hold a press conference to publicly clear Madison's brother.
00:16:55Once the public believes he's innocent,
00:16:58Vanessa will have no ground to fight us anymore.
00:17:01I know Vanessa.
00:17:02She won't show up.
00:17:03Having anyone from the Windsor family in attendance would help.
00:17:07If Mrs. Windsor really doesn't want to come,
00:17:11it's such a shame her grandfather is so ill.
00:17:20Vanessa will come.
00:17:22Just make sure nothing happens at that press conference that could hurt her.
00:17:28Vanessa, I can't wait to watch you crumble at that press conference.
00:17:33But first,
00:17:35I'll teach you a lesson for hitting me, bitch!
00:17:39Anna,
00:17:40they won't stop me.
00:17:42Cole may have frozen my bank accounts,
00:17:44but I still have company shares.
00:17:47I'll hire the best lawyer in Europe to help us.
00:17:56I'm sorry, Mrs. Windsor.
00:17:58Your shares have been frozen as well.
00:18:00The board approved an emergency restriction under Mr. Lockwood's legal order.
00:18:06And with Mrs. Anna gone,
00:18:08our stock price has plummeted.
00:18:10Several creditors have already filed lawsuits.
00:18:12What?
00:18:13What?
00:18:14What?
00:18:14What?
00:18:16What?
00:18:18Mrs. Windsor,
00:18:19emergency.
00:18:20Debt collectors broke into your family's cemetery.
00:18:23They've destroyed your parents' graves.
00:18:32Dad.
00:18:34Mom.
00:18:35I'm sorry.
00:18:36It's all my fault.
00:18:38I failed to protect Anna.
00:18:40I failed to protect this family.
00:18:43I failed to protect Anna.
00:18:47I have to admit,
00:18:49seeing Princess Vanessa crying like this
00:18:50feels pretty amazing.
00:18:58What the hell are you doing here?
00:19:01Showing you the consequences for hitting people.
00:19:04After all,
00:19:05Cole and Gaba said I could do whatever I want.
00:19:09There are consequences!
00:19:10Cole,
00:19:11this is the consequence you meant?
00:19:13You couldn't tolerate me hitting her,
00:19:15but her brother killing my sister is okay?
00:19:17Destroying my family?
00:19:18Ruining my life?
00:19:19All just to protect her?
00:19:22Mom.
00:19:23Dad.
00:19:25This is all my fault.
00:19:27If I hadn't begged you to take Cole and Gaba in back then,
00:19:30none of this would have happened!
00:19:32Daddy.
00:19:34Mommy.
00:19:35I want them to be my brothers.
00:19:37Can they come live with us?
00:19:43Daddy,
00:19:44they're all alone.
00:19:45They lost their parents.
00:19:46They don't have a home anymore.
00:19:48Please,
00:19:49let them stay with us.
00:19:55I wonder what your parents would think,
00:19:57having daughters like you and Anna.
00:19:59One died early,
00:20:01the other's just useless.
00:20:02I guess rot runs in the family.
00:20:05How dare you humiliate my family!
00:20:10Perfect timing.
00:20:16Mrs. Winston,
00:20:17please don't hit me!
00:20:19I just wanted to apologize!
00:20:25Vanessa,
00:20:26stop making a scene!
00:20:31Mr. Lockwood,
00:20:33what do you want?
00:20:35What did you just call me?
00:20:39Vanessa,
00:20:40can you stop this?
00:20:42Tomorrow you'll attend a press conference
00:20:43and apologize to Mattis' brother,
00:20:45Richard,
00:20:46publicly.
00:20:47Tell everyone he didn't kill Anna,
00:20:49that it was all a misunderstanding.
00:20:50Clear his name.
00:20:52And if I don't...
00:21:01Of course you can refuse,
00:21:03but remember,
00:21:05you're not Anna's only surviving family member.
00:21:10Cole Lockwood,
00:21:12if you lay a finger on my grandpa,
00:21:13I swear I will kill you!
00:21:18Are you even the same person I loved?
00:21:21I don't even recognize you anymore.
00:21:25Vanessa,
00:21:26don't cry.
00:21:27I don't want this either.
00:21:30Gabe,
00:21:32if Cole changes his mind,
00:21:34will you still keep your promise?
00:21:38Vanessa!
00:21:39Anna's gone.
00:21:40Arthur is the only family you have left.
00:21:42You want to keep him safe,
00:21:43don't you?
00:21:44Gabe Reed,
00:21:45hear me clearly.
00:21:46If you dare touch my grandpa,
00:21:48I'll drag you to hell with me.
00:21:50Enough!
00:21:51I've treated you like a princess your whole life.
00:21:53All I ever wanted
00:21:54was for you to stand by my side,
00:21:56and now you threaten me?
00:21:58Vanessa,
00:22:00you have two options.
00:22:01Either you apologize at the press conference,
00:22:03or we'll roll your proud,
00:22:05stubborn grandpa there in his hospital bed
00:22:06to do it for you.
00:22:07So Vanessa,
00:22:09what's it going to be?
00:22:13I won't let them drag grandpa into this.
00:22:16The stress would kill him.
00:22:17Fine.
00:22:18I'll do it.
00:22:24Cole Lockwood,
00:22:26Gabe Reed,
00:22:27I swear on Anna's death.
00:22:28I'll make you pay for every single second
00:22:31her killer walks free!
00:22:32You can't talk to us like that!
00:22:34Vanessa,
00:22:35once we repay this debt,
00:22:36once this is over,
00:22:39we'll treat you like our princess again.
00:22:40You want the moon?
00:22:41We'll bring it down for you.
00:22:43No.
00:22:45From this day forward,
00:22:46we're done.
00:22:48You pay your debt,
00:22:50I'll avenge my sister.
00:22:56We're on opposite sides now.
00:22:59Vanessa,
00:23:00why do you look at me as if I'm a stranger?
00:23:02Have I really lost you this time?
00:23:05Someone had to knock that princess attitude
00:23:07out of her eventually.
00:23:10Are you out of your mind?
00:23:11Why the hell did you hit me?
00:23:12Vanessa is a princess.
00:23:13She doesn't need to change a damn thing.
00:23:20I'm sorry,
00:23:22Mr. and Mrs. Windsor.
00:23:23I'll fix everything.
00:23:25I swear it.
00:23:34Once you apologize,
00:23:35it will all be over.
00:23:48I'm sorry.
00:23:49For any trouble,
00:23:50I may have caused
00:23:51Mr. Richard Pierce.
00:23:57Mrs. Winson,
00:23:58don't do this.
00:23:59It wasn't you
00:24:00who committed a crime,
00:24:01it was Anna.
00:24:02We don't blame your family.
00:24:05What did you just say?
00:24:06My sister never committed any crime.
00:24:08How dare you drag her name
00:24:10through the dirt?
00:24:12Mrs. Wilson,
00:24:13I understand your greed.
00:24:15But your sister,
00:24:17she was wild.
00:24:18She stalked me.
00:24:20She begged me
00:24:21to be her secret lover.
00:24:22When I refused,
00:24:23she went crazy.
00:24:24I feared for my life.
00:24:27Liar!
00:24:27Oh, my bad.
00:24:29I shouldn't have said that.
00:24:36Mrs. Windsor,
00:24:37just to confirm,
00:24:38you're saying
00:24:38Mr. Richard Pierce
00:24:39is completely innocent
00:24:40and had nothing to do
00:24:41with your sister Anna's death?
00:24:46Be smart.
00:24:47Think of your grandpa.
00:24:48If you want to protect
00:24:49the only family you have left,
00:24:51you'll say Richard is innocent.
00:25:04Yes.
00:25:06Richard is innocent.
00:25:15Mrs. Winston,
00:25:16so the rumors are true
00:25:17about your sister Anna's
00:25:18chaotic private life?
00:25:20Any comment on her
00:25:21alleged ten abortions?
00:25:22Mrs. Winston,
00:25:23sources allege Anna died
00:25:23while hallucinating
00:25:24after a drug bitch
00:25:25at a sex party.
00:25:26Is that what really
00:25:27happened that night?
00:25:30Answer us!
00:25:30Are the allegations true?
00:25:32Speak up, Mrs. Windsor!
00:25:34Damn right it's true.
00:25:35That horch was so fucking high
00:25:37she could barely breathe,
00:25:38pawing at me,
00:25:39whining for me to fuck her.
00:25:40When I told her to get lost,
00:25:41she went crawling
00:25:41after any dick in the room.
00:25:43No, it isn't.
00:25:45She went crawling
00:25:46after any dick in the room!
00:25:48She was wasted
00:25:48out of her soul,
00:25:50didn't know up from down,
00:25:51and hurled herself
00:25:52off the balcony
00:25:53like trash.
00:25:58Help me.
00:26:01This isn't right.
00:26:02None of this is true.
00:26:04They're hurting her!
00:26:07Cole, don't.
00:26:08This press conference,
00:26:09it's not real,
00:26:10I set it up.
00:26:10It's just an act
00:26:11for Richard to see.
00:26:12Vanessa just has to apologize
00:26:13and then this ends.
00:26:14Don't let all her suffering
00:26:15be for nothing.
00:26:18Shit.
00:26:40Mrs. Wilson,
00:26:42are you okay?
00:26:43Okay.
00:26:43Not so high and mighty now,
00:26:45are you, princess?
00:26:45Your husband
00:26:47and your precious
00:26:48childhood sweetheart
00:26:48are both on my side again.
00:26:50Hurts, doesn't it?
00:26:52Mrs. Wilson understands
00:26:54she was wrong.
00:26:55When she signs the agreement
00:26:56confirming Richard's innocence,
00:26:59all is forgiven.
00:27:01You only ever spread it around
00:27:02because those two men
00:27:03adored you.
00:27:04The more you flaunted it,
00:27:06the more I long
00:27:07to drag you down.
00:27:09And since you love the truth
00:27:10so much,
00:27:11I've got some for you.
00:27:12The night Anna died,
00:27:15I opened the door
00:27:16for Richard.
00:27:20Anna!
00:27:23Don't scare me like this!
00:27:26I've got you.
00:27:31Richard said she was a virgin.
00:27:33Said your little sister
00:27:34so fucking tight.
00:27:36He would have loved
00:27:37to fuck her longer,
00:27:38but too bad
00:27:38she screamed so loud.
00:27:40he had no choice
00:27:41but to silence her forever.
00:27:43Right before she took
00:27:44her last breath,
00:27:45Anna called out for you,
00:27:46Vanessa.
00:27:47You should have heard her
00:27:49begging for her sister
00:27:50to save her.
00:27:59I'll kill you!
00:28:00I'll kill you,
00:28:01you monster!
00:28:03I'll kill us!
00:28:04I'll kill you!
00:28:08I'll kill you!
00:28:10I'll kill you!
00:28:11I'll kill you!
00:28:12All of you!
00:28:12You're monsters!
00:28:14Look at her.
00:28:15She still thinks
00:28:16she's the Winson princess
00:28:17everyone used to worship.
00:28:18Please.
00:28:19Winson's going down.
00:28:21She's a maniac now.
00:28:22A princess?
00:28:23Now she looks more
00:28:24like a maniac.
00:28:41Move!
00:28:42All of you!
00:28:43Get away from her!
00:28:45My head?
00:28:46Richard,
00:28:47am I bleeding?
00:28:51Mr. Lockwood! My sister's hurt badly! Please, come check on her!
00:28:58Oh, God, there's so much blood!
00:29:01Mr. Lockwood, Mr. Lockwood, I'm begging you!
00:29:03She hit her head, and someone stepped on her injured arm!
00:29:06Please save my sister!
00:29:12Cole!
00:29:13If Madison gets hurt because of Vanessa, she'll go to prison.
00:29:15Windsor can't survive another blow.
00:29:16Oh, Vanessa? We'll go to prison?
00:29:23Brother, I'm scared. Am I dying? My arm? It hurts so much.
00:29:32Richard, I'll take Madison to the hospital. Please, take care of Vanessa for us.
00:29:43I win again. Cole, there's no coming back from this. From this moment on, we're over. I'm divorcing you.
00:29:54Ow, it hurts so much.
00:29:59There's nothing serious, not even a mild concussion.
00:30:02And her arm? The one she injured saving us years ago. She said it still flares up every year.
00:30:06Her arm? Which arm? Both are perfectly fine. No injuries, old or new.
00:30:21You've been lying this whole time. You weren't the one who saved us at all, were you?
00:30:44I'm Vanessa Winston. Tonight is my 28th birthday.
00:30:48All my life, I truly believed I was the luckiest woman in the world because I had three guardian angels
00:30:53who loved me so completely.
00:30:57Happy birthday, Vanessa.
00:31:00That's my husband, Cole Lockwood, a legend in the courtroom. They call him the devil of the bar.
00:31:06But, but this so-called devil keeps all his tenderness just for me.
00:31:13And my best friend and childhood sweetheart, Gabe Reed, to protect me, he pushed himself to ace every exam and
00:31:20became the youngest detective in the history of the force.
00:31:25Vanessa!
00:31:26And last, but the most precious of all, my little sister, Anna Windsor.
00:31:31She always had such a natural talent for management, so that I could chase my dreams in the arts.
00:31:36She stepped in and took over the entire Windsor business right after she graduated.
00:31:42I thought my life would stay this happy forever.
00:31:46But, everything fell apart in a way I never could have.
00:31:49Sister Anna was murdered on my birthday.
00:31:53Anna!
00:31:53Anna!
00:31:56Don't scare me like this!
00:31:58I've got you!
00:32:01Wake up!
00:32:02Please, wake up!
00:32:06Wake up!
00:32:07Oh!
00:32:13Oh!
00:32:16Oh!
00:32:18Oh!
00:32:18Oh!
00:32:19Oh!
00:32:21Oh!
00:32:22Oh!
00:32:22Oh!
00:32:23Oh!
00:32:23Oh!
00:32:25Oh!
00:32:25Oh!
00:32:26Oh!
00:32:27Oh!
00:32:28Oh!
00:32:29Oh!
00:32:31Oh!
00:32:33Oh!
00:32:34Oh!
00:32:34Oh!
00:32:34Oh!
00:32:35Oh!
00:32:36Oh!
00:32:40Oh!
00:32:41evidence was undeniable. The people I trusted were all here. But I never saw it coming.
00:32:48To date, none of Mr. Pierce's DNA has been found on the victim, Anna Winsley.
00:32:54Therefore, Your Honor, the defense requests that Richard Pierce be found not guilty.
00:32:59No, no.
00:33:00The evidence is insufficient. This court hereby declares Richard Pierce not guilty. He is free to go.
00:33:06No. No!
00:33:14You're my husband! Anna was your sister too! How dare you defend the man who killed her!
00:33:20Vanessa, stop. This is a court rules. They'll hold you in contempt.
00:33:24How can I calm down? My husband defended my sister's murderer!
00:33:28I screamed for answers. But Gabe Reed dragged me out before I could get a single one.
00:33:33And they did all of this for one reason. The killer was Madison's brother.
00:33:53Honey, this is a mutual release and non-prosecution agreement. Sign it.
00:33:57Acknowledge Richard Pierce' innocence. This ends today.
00:34:05Vanessa, this ends here. No charges, no claims, no future accusations.
00:34:12From today on, Anna's death was nothing but an accident.
00:34:20An accident?
00:34:22You saw the autopsy! Anna was stabbed 19 times! 19 cold!
00:34:29Do you have any idea how much she suffered?
00:34:32How terrified she was?
00:34:34You call that an accident?
00:34:36Do you even have a heart?
00:34:41Why are you doing this?
00:34:43What spell did she cast to make you protect her family like this?
00:34:46If I had known her brother would kill my sister, I never would have let her into my home as
00:34:51a maid!
00:34:56Vanessa, stop acting like a child!
00:34:59Three years ago, during that hiking trip, Cole and I fell off a cliff.
00:35:01If Madison hadn't dragged us out, we'd be dead!
00:35:04Madison shattered her arm, saving us.
00:35:06All she's asking now is that we protect the only family she has left.
00:35:10We owe her!
00:35:11You're saying she saved you?
00:35:23Found you.
00:35:24Finally.
00:35:25You're safe now.
00:35:30Rich kids coming out here for thrills again?
00:35:33Dying in the woods is what they deserve.
00:35:37Guess this is my lucky day.
00:35:44Was it you?
00:35:45Did you save us?
00:35:46They're loaded.
00:35:47Maybe they could change my life.
00:35:49Yes, I saved you.
00:35:51I was the one who saved you!
00:35:52It was me!
00:35:54That snake lied to you!
00:35:56Enough!
00:36:00You were going to hit me?
00:36:02For her?
00:36:03Vanessa?
00:36:04When Cole and I woke up, the first person we saw was Madison.
00:36:07And now you're twisting the story?
00:36:10Vanessa.
00:36:11Gabe and I owe Madison our lives.
00:36:13And you, as the woman we cherish, should stand with us, not against us.
00:36:20Sweetie.
00:36:22Just sign it, okay?
00:36:23Sign it, and this all ends.
00:36:25Gabe and I will still treat you like our princess.
00:36:29I'm not signing anything.
00:36:32Anything.
00:36:33Her brother killed my sister.
00:36:36He will pay for it.
00:36:42Ma'am, I know how you see me.
00:36:45My brother and I, we're nothing.
00:36:47Our lives mean nothing to someone like you.
00:36:50If someone has to die for your sister, let it be me.
00:36:53Madison!
00:36:57Madison, stop.
00:36:58Don't do this to yourself.
00:37:00Vanessa, how can you be so cold?
00:37:03You just stand there while she's on her knees?
00:37:05It's fine, Gabe.
00:37:06Vanessa's a princess.
00:37:07Our lives aren't worth much to people like her.
00:37:10Enough!
00:37:10You will sign it.
00:37:11I've already spoken to the top firms in the country.
00:37:13Even if you refuse, no lawyer will ever take your case again.
00:37:22You, listen to me.
00:37:24I am Vanessa Wensington.
00:37:28I will have justice for my sister's murder.
00:37:31I will make every single one of you regret this.
00:37:38I will make every single one of you regret this.
00:37:43How could she do that?
00:37:45It's one thing if she hates me, but hitting you?
00:37:48That's too much.
00:37:50Don't touch me!
00:37:51Vanessa's my wife!
00:37:52You don't get to judge her!
00:37:53Hey, it's okay.
00:37:55Go home.
00:37:56I'll talk to Cole.
00:38:02Cole, I know you're upset.
00:38:04But you can't treat Madison like that.
00:38:05She nearly lost her arm saving her.
00:38:07You think I wanted this case?
00:38:08She hadn't saved me!
00:38:09I would have never touched it!
00:38:13Anna was our sister, too.
00:38:14I know.
00:38:15But what choice do we have?
00:38:16We owe Madison our lives!
00:38:18Once this blows over, we'll put Vanessa back where she belongs.
00:38:22She'll still be our princess.
00:38:23She loves us.
00:38:24She'll forgive us.
00:38:25Did we really do the right thing?
00:38:26There's no turning back now.
00:38:28Shutting this case down quickly is what's best for Vanessa...
00:38:30And for us.
00:38:32Call every law firm in states.
00:38:33Make sure no other firm will touch this case.
00:38:41Jackson, my wife's case is off-limits.
00:38:43Don't lay a finger on it.
00:38:51Luke, it's me.
00:38:52Stay out of it.
00:38:53That's final.
00:38:54No.
00:39:00Please.
00:39:00You're the last person who can help me stand up to Cole
00:39:02and get justice for my sister's murder.
00:39:06Mrs. Winston, I admire your determination,
00:39:09visiting hundred law firms in L.A. in three days,
00:39:11but you need to let this go.
00:39:13Your husband has this entire legal system in his pocket.
00:39:15Anyone who takes your case is declaring war on him.
00:39:17We can't risk that.
00:39:19I'll pay you anything you want.
00:39:20The Windsor family will...
00:39:22This is a down payment.
00:39:23I'll get more.
00:39:24Don't bother.
00:39:26Didn't anyone tell you?
00:39:27Your husband froze your accounts weeks ago.
00:39:29You can't access a single cent.
00:39:33No.
00:39:34No.
00:39:35No, no.
00:39:36That's impossible.
00:39:37It's my money.
00:39:38My family's money.
00:39:42You must have heard it wrong.
00:39:45He can't freeze my money.
00:39:46He has no right.
00:39:48He can't do this to me.
00:39:56Princess, please.
00:39:57Without Cole and Gabi, she's nothing.
00:39:59I thought she was some princess who ran the show.
00:40:00Look at her now.
00:40:01Just another crazy woman.
00:40:02I heard her sister was murdered
00:40:03and her husband and her best friend did not nothing.
00:40:05They even forced her to sign some gag order.
00:40:06Let go of me.
00:40:07Let go.
00:40:08That's enough.
00:40:13Vanessa, ready to behave now?
00:40:21Vanessa, sign it.
00:40:22This is the last time I'm asking nicely.
00:40:25You know I have a hundred ways to make you sign.
00:40:30Sign it.
00:40:31And we can start over.
00:40:32You'll still be our princess.
00:40:34We'll keep fighting.
00:40:34And don't expect me to stop anyone from stepping on you.
00:40:40Funny.
00:40:41The man who swore no one would ever touch me
00:40:43now tells me to accept being stepped on.
00:40:48Vanessa, you're better than this.
00:40:50Make peace with Madison
00:40:51and everything goes back to the way it was.
00:40:58Gabe, stop.
00:41:00Please don't ruin your relationship
00:41:02with Mrs. Winston because of me.
00:41:06Mrs. Winston.
00:41:08I know my brother was wrong,
00:41:09but he's all I have.
00:41:11Please, don't take him away from me.
00:41:15Let go.
00:41:16If it makes you feel better, hit me.
00:41:17You can do whatever you want of me
00:41:18as long as you forgive my brother.
00:41:21After all,
00:41:22some people just die when they should.
00:41:26Even if you kill me, I'll accept it.
00:41:46You said I could hit you.
00:41:50Satisfied?
00:41:53Vanessa, are you insane?
00:41:54You could have killed her.
00:41:55There are consequences.
00:41:58You're right.
00:41:59Killing someone has consequences.
00:42:01And someone is going to pay for my sister's death.
00:42:07And someone is going to pay for my sister's death.
00:42:16Mr. Lockwood, don't blame Vanessa.
00:42:19Blame me.
00:42:20I told her to do it.
00:42:22When I recover,
00:42:23I'll go apologize to her
00:42:25as long as she can forgive my brother.
00:42:28Don't touch me.
00:42:33Cole, calm down.
00:42:34People are watching.
00:42:35Calm down?
00:42:36Vanessa's really hurt.
00:42:37This can't keep going this way.
00:42:39Cole, trust me.
00:42:41We're one step away from ending this.
00:42:43We'll hold a press conference
00:42:44to publicly clear Madison's brother.
00:42:46Once the public believes he's innocent,
00:42:48Vanessa will have no ground to fight us anymore.
00:42:51I know Vanessa.
00:42:52She won't show up.
00:42:53Having anyone from the Windsor family
00:42:55in attendance would help.
00:42:56If Mrs. Windsor really doesn't want to come,
00:43:00it's such a shame her grandfather is so ill.
00:43:08Vanessa will come.
00:43:09Just make sure nothing happens
00:43:11at that press conference that could hurt her.
00:43:15Vanessa,
00:43:16I can't wait to watch you crumble
00:43:17at that press conference.
00:43:19But first,
00:43:21I'll teach you a lesson for hitting me, bitch!
00:43:24Anna,
00:43:25they won't stop me.
00:43:27Cole may have frozen my bank accounts,
00:43:29but I still have company shares.
00:43:31I'll hire the best lawyer in Europe to help us.
00:43:39I'm sorry, Mrs. Windsor.
00:43:40Your shares have been frozen as well.
00:43:42The board approved an emergency restriction
00:43:45under Mr. Lockwood's legal order.
00:43:47And with Mrs. Anna gone,
00:43:49our stock price has plummeted.
00:43:51Several creditors have already filed lawsuits.
00:43:53What?
00:43:58Mrs. Windsor, emergency.
00:44:00Debt collectors broke into your family's cemetery.
00:44:02They've destroyed your parents' graves.
00:44:11Dad.
00:44:12Mom,
00:44:13I'm sorry.
00:44:14It's all my fault.
00:44:16I failed to protect Anna.
00:44:18I failed to protect this family.
00:44:23I have to admit,
00:44:25seeing Princess Vanessa crying like this
00:44:26feels pretty amazing.
00:44:33What the hell are you doing here?
00:44:35Showing you the consequences for hitting people.
00:44:38After all,
00:44:39Cole and Gaba said I could do whatever I want.
00:44:42There are consequences!
00:44:44Cole,
00:44:44this is the consequence you meant?
00:44:46You couldn't tolerate me hitting her,
00:44:48but her brother killing my sister is okay?
00:44:50Destroying my family?
00:44:50Ruining my life?
00:44:51All just to protect her?
00:44:54Mom,
00:44:55Dad,
00:44:56this is all my fault.
00:44:58If I hadn't begged you to take Cole and Gaba in back then,
00:45:01none of this would have happened!
00:45:03Daddy,
00:45:04Mommy,
00:45:04I want them to be my brothers.
00:45:06Can they come live with us?
00:45:12Daddy,
00:45:12they're all alone.
00:45:13They lost their parents.
00:45:15They don't have a home anymore.
00:45:16Please,
00:45:17please,
00:45:17let them stay with us.
00:45:22I wonder what your parents would think,
00:45:24having daughters like you and Anna.
00:45:26One died early,
00:45:27the other's just useless.
00:45:29I guess rot runs in the family.
00:45:31How dare you humiliate my family!
00:45:35Perfect timing.
00:45:41Mrs. Winston,
00:45:42please don't hit me!
00:45:43I just wanted to apologize!
00:45:49Vanessa,
00:45:49stop making a scene!
00:45:54Mr. Lockwood,
00:45:55what do you want?
00:45:57What did you just call me?
00:46:01Vanessa,
00:46:02can you stop this?
00:46:03Tomorrow,
00:46:04you'll attend a press conference
00:46:05and apologize to Mattis' brother,
00:46:06Richard,
00:46:07publicly.
00:46:08Tell everyone he didn't kill Anna,
00:46:09that it was all a misunderstanding.
00:46:10Clear his name.
00:46:12And if I don't?
00:46:20Of course you can refuse,
00:46:22but remember,
00:46:23you're not Anna's only surviving family member.
00:46:28Call Lockwood,
00:46:29if you lay anger on my grandpa,
00:46:30I swear I will kill you!
00:46:34Are you even the same person I loved?
00:46:37I don't even recognize you anymore.
00:46:40Vanessa,
00:46:42don't cry.
00:46:43I don't want this either.
00:46:46Gabe,
00:46:47if Cole changes his mind,
00:46:48will you still keep your promise?
00:46:52Vanessa,
00:46:53Anna's gone.
00:46:54Arthur is the only family you have left.
00:46:55You want to keep him safe,
00:46:56don't you?
00:46:57Gabe Reed,
00:46:58hear me clearly.
00:46:59If you dare touch my grandpa,
00:47:01I'll drag you to hell with me.
00:47:02Enough!
00:47:03I've treated you like a princess your whole life.
00:47:05All I ever wanted was for you to stand by my side,
00:47:08and now you threaten me?
00:47:09Vanessa,
00:47:11you have two options.
00:47:12Either you apologize at the press conference,
00:47:14or we'll roll your proud,
00:47:15stubborn grandpa there in his hospital bed
00:47:17to do it for you.
00:47:18So Vanessa,
00:47:19what's it gonna be?
00:47:23I won't let them drag grandpa into this.
00:47:25The stress would kill him.
00:47:26Fine.
00:47:26I'll do it.
00:47:32Cole Lockwood,
00:47:33Gabe Reed,
00:47:34I swear on Anna's death,
00:47:36I'll make you pay for every single second
00:47:38her killer walks free!
00:47:39You can't talk to us like that!
00:47:41Vanessa,
00:47:42once we repay this debt,
00:47:43once this is over,
00:47:44we'll treat you like our princess again.
00:47:46You want the moon?
00:47:47We'll bring it down for you.
00:47:48No.
00:47:50From this day forward,
00:47:51we're done.
00:47:53You pay your debt,
00:47:54I'll avenge my sister.
00:48:00We're on opposite sides now.
00:48:02Vanessa,
00:48:03why do you look at me as if I'm a stranger?
00:48:05Have I really lost you this time?
00:48:08Someone had to knock that princess attitude
00:48:09out of her eventually.
00:48:12Are you out of your mind?
00:48:13Why the hell did you hit me?
00:48:14Vanessa is a princess.
00:48:15She doesn't need to change a damn thing!
00:48:21I'm sorry,
00:48:22Mr. and Mrs. Windsor.
00:48:24I'll fix everything,
00:48:25I swear it.
00:48:32Once you apologize,
00:48:34it will all be over.
00:48:45I'm sorry.
00:48:46For any trouble,
00:48:47I may have caused Mr. Richard Pierce.
00:48:53Mrs. Winson,
00:48:54don't do this.
00:48:55It wasn't you who committed a crime,
00:48:57it was Anna.
00:48:57We don't blame your family.
00:49:00What did you just say?
00:49:01My sister never committed any crime!
00:49:02How dare you drag her name through the dirt!
00:49:05Mrs. Wilson,
00:49:06I understand your grief.
00:49:09But your sister,
00:49:10she was wild.
00:49:11She stalked me.
00:49:13She begged me to be her secret lover.
00:49:14When I refused,
00:49:15she went crazy.
00:49:16I feared for my life.
00:49:18Liar!
00:49:19Oh, my bad!
00:49:20I shouldn't have said that!
00:49:22No!
00:49:24No!
00:49:25No!
00:49:25No!
00:49:26No!
00:49:26No!
00:49:27No!
00:49:28No!
00:49:28No!
00:49:29No!
00:49:29You fear that Mr. Pierce is completely innocent
00:49:31and had nothing to do with your sister Anna's death?
00:49:35Be smart.
00:49:36Think of your grandpa.
00:49:37If you want to protect the only family
00:49:39you have left,
00:49:39you'll say Richard is innocent.
00:49:51Yes.
00:49:53Richard is innocent.
00:50:01Mrs. Winston, so the rumors are true about your sister Anna's chaotic private life?
00:50:05Any comment on her alleged 10 abortions?
00:50:07Mrs. Winston, sources allege Anna died while hallucinating after a drug bitch at a sex party.
00:50:10Is that what really happened that night?
00:50:13Answer us! Are the allegations true?
00:50:15Speak up, Mrs. Windsor!
00:50:17Damn right it's true!
00:50:18That horch was so fucking high she could barely breathe,
00:50:21clawing at me, whining for me to fuck her.
00:50:22When I told her to get lost, she went crawling after any dick in the room.
00:50:25No, it isn't.
00:50:26She went crawling after any dick in the room!
00:50:29She was wasted out of her soul, didn't know up from down,
00:50:32and hurled herself off the balcony like trash.
00:50:38Help me.
00:50:40This isn't right. None of this is true.
00:50:43They're hurting her!
00:50:46Cole, don't. This press conference. It's not real. I set it up.
00:50:49It's just an act for Richard to see.
00:50:50Vanessa just has to apologize and then this ends.
00:50:52Don't let all her suffering be for nothing.
00:50:55Shit.
00:51:15Mrs. Wilson, are you okay?
00:51:17Not so high and mighty now, are you, princess?
00:51:19Your husband and your precious childhood sweetheart are both on my side again.
00:51:23It hurts, doesn't it?
00:51:25Mrs. Wilson understands she was wrong.
00:51:27When she signs the agreement confirming Richard's innocence,
00:51:31all is forgiven.
00:51:32You only ever spread it around because those two men adored you.
00:51:36The more you flaunted it, the more I long to drag you down.
00:51:40And since you love the truth so much, I've got some for you.
00:51:42The night Anna died, I opened the door for Richard.
00:51:49Anna!
00:51:52Don't scare me like this!
00:51:55I've got you.
00:51:58Richard said she was a virgin.
00:52:01Said your little sister's so fucking tight.
00:52:03He would have loved to fuck her longer, but too bad she screamed so loud.
00:52:07He had no choice but to silence her forever.
00:52:09Right before she took her last breath, Anna called out for you, Vanessa.
00:52:13You should have heard her, begging for her sister to save her.
00:52:23I'll kill you!
00:52:24I'll kill you, you monster!
00:52:26I'll kill you!

00:52:42She's not there now.
