01:08I continue to miss Lindsey every day and there is still a big hole in my heart, but I know

01:25I want to thank President Trump for all of his support and his endorsement.
01:30Mr. President Lindsey truly loved you and viewed you as one of his closest friends.
01:36I appreciate that bond and appreciate all that you've done for our country.
01:41Our victory would not have been possible without you and we are truly grateful.
01:47South Carolina is truly Trump country.

04:18The past few weeks have been an unbelievably challenging time for our family.
04:24But you know what?
04:25We did it.
04:32I have mixed emotions right now.
04:35I'm still feeling grief, heartache, and immense gratitude.

04:43During the past several weeks, I've been amazed at the number of people Lindsay personally impacted and the legacy he
04:51left behind.
04:52Our state and nation are much better and safer because of him.
04:58Thank you, Lindsay, for your service to South Carolina and to this country.

05:14I also want to thank my opponent, Congressman Ralph Norman, and all the other Republican candidates who entered this race.
05:22Running for office is not an easy endeavor.
05:26I have learned that the hard way.
05:28I admire and appreciate your willingness to serve as South Carolina Republicans.
05:35We are part of a large and sometimes disagreeable family of conservative voices, right?
05:41But we know that our family squabbles are minor compared to the major differences we have with our Democratic opponents.

05:49If you supported another candidate in this primary, please know that I will work hard to earn your trust and
05:56your support.
05:57People are moving to South Carolina in droves to get away from the blue state policies of the Democratic Socialist.
06:05Yeah, I remember you.
06:10Massachusetts, right?
06:13We cannot and must not allow Democratic Socialists to gain a foothold in our conservative state like South Carolina.
06:27Tonight is a great victory, but it's not the finish line.
06:31In fact, it is the starting line for an even bigger fight which lies ahead.
06:36Liberals believe if they can defeat conservatives in South Carolina, then they can defeat us anywhere.
06:44Once again, they're coming for us and the South Carolina values we hold dear.
06:49For those who are not aware, you need to know that my Democratic opponent, Dr. Annie Andrews,
06:55is the most radical liberal ever nominated for a statewide office by the South Carolina Democratic Party.
07:04Her views are those of Bernie Sanders and AOC.
07:11If you liked Kamala Harris for president, you're going to love Dr. Annie Andrews.
07:19No person in South Carolina has pushed harder for the absolutely terrible idea of turning confused little boys into little
07:28girls and vice versa than Annie Andrews.
07:34Gun control, government-run health care, abortion until the moment of birth.
07:41Bad idea after bad idea, Annie Andrews backs them all.
07:48I have a different background and vision for our state.
07:52I'm a hard worker with a servant's heart.
07:55I grew up in the back of a bar and liquor store in one room in central South Carolina.
07:59My parents worked long, hard hours to make ends meet.
08:04We didn't take vacations.
08:06If they were sick, they had to get up and go to work because the doors weren't open.
08:10We weren't making money.
08:11My mother passed away when I was 11 and my father just over a year later.
08:16For the past 30 years, I've worked hard for the people of South Carolina.
08:21And for the past seven years, I've led a state agency.
08:25And I understand the struggles facing South Carolina families because I've faced them too.
08:31As your senator, I will continue to work to grow our economy and put South Carolina families first.
08:45But I cannot do it without your help.
08:47We learned earlier today that my Democrat socialist opponent is launching a massive advertising effort tomorrow morning,
08:55funded by a blue wave of cash from outside South Carolina.
