00:17According to the New Straits Times, Khairi is seeking disclosure of the registered owner's details in connection with an article
00:24published on March 10.
00:25The article, titled 10 Reasons Why KJ Isn't PM Material, Malaysians Must Carefully Examine His Past Track Record,
00:33was published under the pseudonym Pemerhati Rasuah or Corruption Observer.
00:38Khairi said the identity of the writer remained unknown and could not be established without court intervention.
00:44His lawyers issued a letter of demand to Focus Malaysia Sendirian Berhad on March 13, but the company denied owning
00:52the website.
00:53The company said it had divested its entire business around 2018.
00:58Khairi is seeking the registered owner's identity or company registration details, contact information and domain registration records linked to the
01:07website.
01:08MyNik confirmed it holds the ownership records and had no objection to disclosing them if ordered by the court.
01:15However, MyNik objected to releasing correspondence involving the domain registrant,
01:21saying the materials were irrelevant or unnecessary to the proposed defamation proceedings.
01:27MyNik maintained it was an innocent third party and not a named defendant.
01:32It also sought indemnity against any costs or liability arising from complying with a disclosure order.
