00:05My husband is Caleb Thorne. He won't let this go.
00:12My husband will find you too.
00:18Caleb.
00:25Victoria? You did this?
00:28Why?
00:28Don't hate me for it. These are Caleb's orders.
00:37My darling sister.
00:41That little bastard in your belly. It doesn't get to live.
00:45No, that's not possible. He's my husband. He would never...
00:49Husband?
00:50Oh, sweetheart. Caleb has never loved you. Not for one breath of one day.
00:55The signs were everywhere. You really didn't see?
01:00Did he, Anya? Did he ever really love you?
01:04Whenever it came down to Victoria or me, he chose me. Every single time.
01:18And I was always the one he left behind when the bullets came.
01:21Even after I gave him a piece of myself to keep them alive, he never once truly looked at me.
01:28I told myself maybe I was being too sensitive. Until that night.
01:44He never loved me. Not one breath. Not one single day.
01:56Five years ago, Victoria was still Caleb's fiancee.
02:00The thorns ran half the docks in this city, and the men who wanted them gone had finally made their
02:05move.
02:06A rival outfit put two bullets in him, in his own parking garage.
02:11When his life hung by a thread, I was the one who stepped forward.
02:15The bullet shattered his left kidney. The right one is failing under the load.
02:19Without a transplant tonight, he does not see morning.
02:24A transplant? From... from where?
02:27Victoria, you matched on the registry the day you got engaged.
02:30If you are willing, there is not a more suitable donor in the world.
02:33Donate a kidney. What does that do to me, after?
02:34You will be fine. One kidney is enough to live a full normal life.
02:37No.
02:37No?
02:38No. I am only 23. The best part of my life has not even started.
02:41I'm not cutting myself open for a guy. Go find someone else.
02:43At this hour, Victoria, where am I going to find another match in time?
02:46Two years ago, I fell in love with Caleb the moment I saw him.
02:50But then Victoria took him first.
02:51Got herself engaged before I could even breathe a word of it.
02:54I buried my feelings for two years.
02:56Maybe this is the one chance fate will ever hand me.
03:00Elias, I will do it.
03:04Anya, as a friend, I'm asking you one last time.
03:09Are you sure about this?
03:10Please, Elias. Just get started.
03:13I need to save Caleb.
03:15Very well, then.
03:16Let us prep. We are going.
03:23There you are.
03:25Is he...
03:26Alive. The transplant went through. He will be fine.
03:29Anya, was it worth it? Truly?
03:31It was. For him, all of it was worth it.
03:37Miss Sterling, Mr. Thorne sent me.
03:38He filed papers this morning to dissolve his engagement to your sister.
03:42He intends to take you as his wife.
03:47He chose me.
03:50Anna! Anna!
03:52Anna!
04:06Earn it.
04:08He's just being kind to her. They were engaged for two years. He's letting her down gently. That's all this
04:14is.
04:17Victoria, forgive me for calling off our wedding. Just remember, none of it is real.
04:21I know, darling.
04:23My enemies are always watching. If they knew what you mean to me, they would come for you.
04:28Let them think Anya is my wife. Let her take the danger. You stay safe. With me.
04:34Once it passes, I will give you the wedding you deserve.
04:39Anya, you give him your kidney. So what?
04:43It's perfect. Caleb is mine. Nothing will ever change that.
04:49Ms. Sterling, your gown is ready. The final inauguration is finished this morning. Please, take a look.
04:58It's perfect. Shall I help you into it?
05:02Anya.
05:05Anya.
05:06Victoria? Why are you here?
05:07Oh, sis, don't be cross with me. I've just been so happy about your wedding. I begged Caleb to bring
05:12me along. You don't mind, do you?
05:14Of course she doesn't.
05:17It's so beautiful in here. But my engagement is gone now. Who knows if I'll ever stand in a room
05:22like this again. As the bride, I mean.
05:25Your day will come, Victoria. Don't worry.
05:30Anya, this one is breathtaking. Could I try it on? Just once, please?
05:40Victoria, this is my wedding dress. I was just about...
05:44Anya, let her try it on. We'll have another one made for you. It's not the end of the world.
05:52Aw, Anya, you're the best.
05:56Miss, perhaps you would like to try something else while we wait?
06:07You look perfect, Victoria.
06:10Caleb, can you buy it for me? I want to wear it to Anna's wedding, just for the day.
06:17Well, it's just a dress, Anya. Let her have it. You can buy as many others as you want. Wrap
06:23them both.
06:45Hey ladies, how's it going?
06:46Everything's taken care of. I made sure Anya has everything she needs. So, how do I look, Caleb?
06:51You look absolutely beautiful, Toria.
06:53Caleb, they say it's bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the ceremony.
06:57I've never believed in superstitions, my love. I had to see you.
07:03Word is another outfit put men on your wedding, boss. A hit. Watch yourself.
07:09Let me look at you.
07:12Caleb?
07:13Caleb?
07:15So, he does have me in his heart after all, doesn't he?
07:27Watch out!
07:29Ah!
07:39Caleb!
07:41Victoria, where are you hit?
07:43My ankle. Caleb, it hurts so much.
07:45Don't move. I'm taking you to the hospital. Now!
07:47Caleb! Caleb, please! My leg!
07:51He held her in his arms as though she were made of porcelain.
07:54And me, his bride, he left to bleed into the silk of my own wedding ground.
08:02You took a hard blow, Mrs. Thorne. The bone has cracked. The bruising is deep.
08:07You need real rest. No walking, no stairs, no strain on the leg for at least three days.
08:13Thank you, doctor.
08:15Do you have family who can be here to take care of you?
08:19My husband. He has work. A great deal of work. I'm sure he'll be home soon.
08:23Forgive me, Mrs. Thorne. What work could possibly come before his own wife?
08:27You're this badly hurt. Have you not told him?
08:30Right. What is more important than his own wife? He saw me bleeding with his own eyes, and he walked
08:36away from me.
08:37Then rest these next few days, Mrs. Thorne. Call me if anything changes.
08:41Thank you, doctor.
08:45Tonight is our wedding night. He'll come back to me. He has to.
08:55He's back.
09:00Whiskey. Heavy on him. He's drunk.
09:04Don't move. Just let me hold you.
09:12Caleb, you're drunk.
09:16Look at me. Do you know who I am?
09:18What are you saying? You're my wife. I've been waiting for this.
09:22He came back. He came back for me. That has to mean something. It has to.
09:27He came back for me.
09:34Caleb.
09:55Don't leave me.
10:06Anya.
10:11Is this...
10:13Why does she have a scar in the exact same spot as mine?
10:23Let me go.
10:24My husband is Caleb Thorne. He won't let this go.
10:30My husband will find you, too.
10:37Caleb.
10:43Victoria?
