Ashutosh Rana indirectly targets Kangana Ranaut, schools critics over derogatory remarks

Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh: In a conversation with the media, actor Ashutosh Rana, without taking the name of film actress Kangana Ranaut, better defined the ongoing criticism in the present times and advised those making such comments. Speaking to the media on this, he said, "Making a comment depends on the individual, how you present a person. Actually, when someone uses abusive language against someone, we feel that abusive words should not be used... rather a positive reaction should be given... but when the same person starts using abusive language about you, do we still have the thought that abusive language should not be used... I believe it completely depends on personal discretion." Defining journalism and sensationalism, he said that if sensationalism is happening somewhere, then it raises questions on journalism. At the same time, in his next point, while defining 'Teeka' (exegesis) and 'Tippani' (commentary), he said, "We have both Teeka and Tippani, and Teeka is a wonderful thing... like Teekas have been written on the Gita and on the Ramayana, and Tippani is also a wonderful thing, people do it on Ramayana, on Mahabharata, on Gita as well. It depends on us how we present such wonderful and benevolent sentiments like Teeka and Tippani."
