00:14At the end of June, Vadim Yemolayev was walking home from dinner with his partner Anna and
00:19their teenage son when the woman detonated the device at the entrance to their apartment
00:24building.
00:24Monaco authorities identified the bomber as Anastasia Berezovska, a Ukrainian woman
00:29living as a refugee in Germany.
00:32After she was found dead, two men who worked in Ukraine's security services were arrested
00:36for her killing.
00:37Monaco authorities said that the sophistication of the bomb suggested she didn't act alone.
00:43We discovered Berezovska was living with two other people in Germany alongside her young
00:47son.
00:48Neighbors told us another woman and a man were staying with her at an asylum residence outside
00:53Frankfurt.
00:54Then there's the rental car that Berezovska used to travel to Monaco.
00:57Authorities revealed a cell phone number linked to the booking.
01:01It was still active on Telegram almost two months after she was found dead and after her
01:06phones were reportedly thrown in a nearby lake.
01:09Messages and calls to that number from Bloomberg went unanswered.
01:12Yemolayev told us he believes the bomb was an attempted contract killing.
01:16He says the longer the investigation drags on, the greater the risk that accomplices might
01:21be killed.
01:22Just like Berezovska.
01:23He's doing the same.
