I can’t see myself at 40, to be honest. Surprised I made it to 30.
🎬: Aftersun (2022)
Loosely based on a real trip Charlotte Wells took with her father, Aftersun tells the story of Sophie and Calum during a holiday in Turkey. Between poolside afternoons, late-night moments, and memories captured on a camcorder, their bond feels warm and familiar, yet Calum’s hidden struggles quietly surface. Years later, Sophie looks back on the vacation and begins to see her father and their time together in a different light.
