00:00Well, I'm not really afraid. I mean, of course, I'm like everybody else. I just work real
00:05hard. I've been as poor as anybody could be, so I had everything to gain, nothing to lose.
00:08So I just kind of work without fear because it's fun for me. It's like if I fail, it's
00:13no big deal. If something don't work out, I'm not afraid of failure because to me, I
00:17never feel like a loser. You know, even when I've lost, I still, you know, feel like I'm
00:22winning because I'm earning some sort of, you know, experience or something that I can
00:27use somewhere else. But I'll have a good attitude. I work hard at being happy. You
00:31got to, you know, you got to work at that too. But I really enjoy my life. I enjoy
00:36people and I just am happy to get to make a living in what I love to do. I'm proud
00:41of
00:41every year I've lived. What is somebody once said, age is mind over matter. If you
00:45don't mind, then it don't matter. And I don't mind. Now Stallone, it's killing him.
00:51I was reading the script and I thought it would be great if, you know, if he would do
00:54it and he thought it would be good if I would do it. So it was like one of those
00:56things. It was just a natural. And then when we met, it seemed to be like the real
01:00magical thing. And I just loved him. I thought he was so pretty. I thought, well, I'd
01:03least like to spend four months around a good looking hunk like that.
01:07So subtle. I think that's the first time anyone's called you pretty.
01:11She's got this thing about pretty. I don't know.
01:13Oh, but he's so pretty. Look at him though.
01:15Well, I thought that was really great until one day she picked up this, this like frog
01:19that has leprosy and goes, isn't that pretty?
01:21Oh, you lied. So handsome, but so pretty.
01:26Well, when I had seen the script, Dolly wasn't attached to it. And I said, no, it wouldn't
01:31work because the whole thing really, the pendulum of the film swings on the female lead. Then
01:36when she did get involved, then I was very excited and jumped on it as fast as I could.
01:42The script, that is.
01:43The script, that is.
01:45Does Sylvester Stallone have hope as a country singer?
01:49I think he's a big country star. I really do. Every time I say that, he gets crazy with
01:53it. He didn't want to do it again. He said, this was a one time thing. I said, wait till
01:57we have a few number one records. You'll be coming back wanting to do another album.
02:01I'll say anything to get through the day.
02:04But actually, I was quite proud of him. I thought he did real good.
