00:00If I'm Aaron Boone, if I'm the Yankees, I give George Lombard Jr. a day off.
00:05You know, another error, and I think it's a bump in the road.
00:09I think the defensive plays that we saw early on with George Lombard Jr.,
00:13that's the guy that we're going to see here for the next 10 years.
00:16I truly believe that.
00:17This is just, you know, you kind of go through those ups and downs as a rookie.
00:22And what you want to avoid here is putting Lombard Jr. out there again,
00:26committing an error against Houston, and that carrying over to the Red Sox.
00:30You do not want that.
00:31It could snowball.
00:32It could become more of a conversation.
00:34You could start to hear the boo birds.
00:35It could be a situation that you don't want a young player to have to go through,
00:39especially with a critical series coming up against the Red Sox.
00:42You've got to make every play against Boston to beat them.
00:44You don't have to against Houston.
00:45They suck.
00:45But against, and you're saying, oh, well, they're in first place.
00:49The division's horrible.
00:50I mean, Houston's basically at 500 or under 500.
00:52They're not a very good baseball team.
00:53But Boston is.
00:55To me, the two best teams in the American League,
00:57the only two good teams in the American League,
00:58the only teams that have any shot in the American League of going to the World Series
01:01are the Yankees and the Red Sox.
01:03So you've got a big four-game set coming up against them.
01:05I would want George Lombard Jr. mentally just to get a little reset,
01:09a little bit of a relaxation,
01:12and then you can have them out there for Boston.
