00:01This is the most talked about cost of living symbol in the UK.
00:05Now I might not be able to do anything to reduce the price of these,
00:08but here's what I am doing to help bring down the cost of living.
00:12We're cutting tax on your electricity bills.
00:14We're saving you money on transport by capping bus fares at £2 in England
00:19and giving disabled people 24-7 free bus travel.
00:23We're making subscriptions easier to cancel so you don't see the same money
00:27leaving your account every month and wonder where it's going to.
00:30We're cracking down on fake discounts.
00:32If something is advertised at half price, it needs to be half price.
00:36We're cutting business rates by 20% for pubs, clubs and music venues
00:40to help give our hospitality sector the lift it desperately needs.
00:44This is just a start and I know that, but all of these things add up.
00:48Every day the cost of living is at the top of my mind because I know it's at the top
00:52of yours too.
00:53I will fight to give you more breathing space, take the pressure off
00:56and make Britain better off.
00:58And if only I could make Red O's cheaper.
