00:01Chicago Med is an emotional thrill ride through the day-to-day chaos of one of Chicago's leading hospitals.
00:09And it follows a courageous group of doctors tackling current and topical events,
00:16along with fresh faces from Chicagopedia and Chicago Fire.
00:23I play Dr. Will Halstead, and like I said, he's the brother of Detective Jay Halstead on PD.
00:31But he's a senior resident emergency doctor, so he's in his last year of residency.
00:36And he's an extremely reliable, hardworking, forward-thinking doctor.
00:42So what's going to get him into trouble is his ability or his want to save everybody.
00:50And maybe his ability, maybe that he can't do that.
00:57The first episode, I'm in the hospital as a regular by this point.
01:02I had done, I think, like seven crossovers before Chicago Med starts.
01:08So I've been on PD and Fire's first few episodes of their seasons.
01:14So I'm already in the world, which is really smart.
01:18And they've been filtering us in to prep up for our first episode.
01:22And so, yeah, we're sort of a part of the community already.
01:27So at my entrance is just that you see me in the hospital and it's everyday life already.
