00:00Mucho, mucho más. Mucho más. Tampoco tres años, ¿sabes? Pero bastantes más meses de los que la gente se cree.
00:07Hasta día de hoy, pero bueno, disfruta.
00:08That is India Cutes Garsha talking about Lam and Yaml. For two months, the internet told a completely
00:13different story about her. A five-year boyfriend she supposedly dumped. A timeline that never
00:18matched her own. She has now answered all of it herself. The night the whole internet turned on
00:23her. On the 19th of July, 2026, Spain beat Argentina 1-0 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford,
00:30New Jersey. It was the World Cup final. Lam and Yaml, the kid from Barcelona who had turned 19
00:35during the tournament, was a world champion. And for a few minutes, everything was perfect.
00:40India Cutes Garsha walked out onto that pitch. She found her boyfriend in the middle of the
00:44celebrations. She held the World Cup trophy with him, and somebody took a photo of the two of them
00:48together, gold in their hands, confetti still falling around them. She had earned that moment
00:53as much as anyone in the stands had. She had been at those games from the start of the tournament,
00:57sitting with his family, wearing his Spain shirt with the number 19 on the back, filming little
01:01get-ready videos for her followers before kick-off, and posting messages to him after every win.
01:06So she posted the photo, and she wrote the simplest caption a person could write.
01:10Lo conseguiste, en horbuna mi amor, eres campeón del mundo. You did it.
01:15Congratulations, my love. You are the champion of the world. That was it. That was the whole crime.
01:20A girl posting a photo of her boyfriend on the best night of his life. Within hours,
01:24her phone would not stop. Because the moment that photo went up, thousands of strangers decided
01:28they knew exactly who she was, exactly what she had done to get there, and exactly what she deserved
01:33for doing it. The comments came in waves. Some of them were about timing. Users told her she had been
01:38with somebody else only weeks earlier. One of them read, only three weeks ago you had a relationship.
01:43Another one read, a month ago you had another boyfriend. Think about what those two comments
01:47are really saying. They are saying she did not fall in love. They are saying she saw a world cup
01:51coming, and she picked a winner. They are saying every photo of her in the stands was a performance,
01:56and every message she ever sent him was a business decision. The accusation underneath all of it was
02:00that she had moved towards the footballer out of self-interest. Gold digger. That was the word
02:05doing the rounds, alongside a thousand confident predictions that the whole thing would be over
02:09within months. And here is the first thing that should have stopped the story dead. The rumors only
02:14really took off after the two of them celebrated on the field at MetLife Stadium, and the couple had
02:18already been dating since earlier in the year. The people accusing her of showing up for the trophy
02:22were watching a woman who had been with him for months before anybody handed out a trophy. The
02:27strange part is that she had already answered that exact accusation weeks before the final in her own
02:32voice in a video she filmed on the way to the airport. She was not being vague to protect a
02:43secret. She
02:44went further and gave people the actual marker they could check for themselves. That was said out loud
02:57on camera to hundreds of thousands of people before Spain had even reached the final. It did not matter.
03:02On the night of the trophy photo, the three-week story came back anyway, and this time it came back
03:07with a much bigger audience attached to it. Then came the second wave, and this one was uglier. Fake
03:12accounts started appearing. Profiles using her name, her photos, her face, posting things she had never
03:17said and confirming rumors she had never confirmed. Screenshots of those posts got shared as evidence.
03:22People were reading words invented by strangers and treating them as her confession. So she went
03:27to her Instagram stories and did the most basic housekeeping a public person can do. She told
03:32everybody which accounts were actually hers. Hi. My only official accounts are this one on Instagram
03:37and at Inesitia on TikTok. The rest are fake, as is any information posted by accounts that aren't mine,
03:43she wrote. And then one more line, because apparently it needed saying twice. I already said I didn't have
03:49Twitter, thank you. Sit with that for a moment. A woman is having to publicly announce that she
03:54does not have a Twitter account, because people are quoting a Twitter account with her name on
03:58it as proof of her character. And then it went somewhere she could not fix with a housekeeping
04:03post. The insults spread past her. Racist comments started appearing aimed at Laman Yamel himself
04:08and at his family. Not opinions about football. Not jokes about a young couple. Abuse aimed at a 19-year
04:13-old
04:13and the people who raised him, in the same comment sections that were supposedly about her dating history.
04:18That is the point where she stopped trying to write it out. She sat down and wrote something
04:23much longer than a story. And the first thing she said was the thing anybody would say, which
04:27is that she never saw this coming. I never thought that sharing something so simple would turn into
04:32all this, she wrote. Something so simple, a photo. That is all it was. She kept going,
04:37and she admitted the part that public people almost never admit, which is that she had been sitting
04:42there reading it. I have been reading comments for hours, and even though I try to act strong,
04:47I am human too. Behind this profile there is a person who feels, who cries, who makes mistakes,
04:52and who does not stop being human just because she is with someone. Hours, she said hours.
04:57That line about not stopping being human, just because she is with someone, is the whole statement
05:01in one sentence. She is saying that dating a famous footballer is being treated as a decision to give up
05:07her right to be a person. Then she drew a line that a lot of people online genuinely seem unable
05:12to see.
05:13I understand that you cannot be liked by everyone. I understand criticism when it is done with respect.
05:18But there is a huge difference between giving an opinion and spending your time humiliating,
05:22insulting, or wishing the worst on someone you do not even know. She is not asking to be liked.
05:27She is not demanding that anybody approve of her relationship. She is separating the person who
05:31thinks she is a bad match from the person who wakes up and chooses to spend an afternoon typing hate
05:36at a stranger. And then she brought her family into it, because they were already in it,
05:41whether she wanted them there or not. I am a woman with feelings, with a family that reads these
05:45things, and with good days and bad days like anyone else. Her mother reads the comments. Her
05:50father reads the comments. Her friends read the comments. Every insult aimed at her lands in a
05:55house full of people who love her. And notice how little she actually asks for in that sentence.
05:59Good days and bad days like anyone else. She is not claiming to be perfect. She is not defending
06:04herself as some flawless person who has never made a mistake. She is asking to be allowed the
06:08ordinary human range that everybody else gets for free. Spanish media ran the statement with the
06:13line that summed it up best. She was asking for a little empathy, and saying that nobody deserves
06:18to receive thousands of hate messages, because behind the account there is somebody who feels
06:23and who cries. That is a 21 year old, asking the internet to remember she is alive. Now here is
06:28what
06:28makes this whole thing worth understanding properly. Everything you just heard, the flood,
06:32the fake accounts, the racism, the long statement written at the end of a night that should have
06:37been the happiest of her life, all of it traces back to one single rumor. One story, one name,
06:42one holiday. And that rumor started two full months before the World Cup final, on a beach in Greece,
06:47with a video that somebody filmed on their phone. The boyfriend who never existed.
06:52Go back to the spring of 2026, before any of this was a story. At that point,
06:57Laman Yamel was one of the most watched teenagers on the planet. Barcelona star, Spain international,
07:03a player who had already won a European championship, and like most footballers at
07:07that level, he had a private life he was trying very hard to keep private. He had come out of
07:11a
07:11relationship with the Argentine singer Nicki Nicole, which ended in November of 2025. When rumors went
07:17around that he had cheated, he went to the Spanish journalist Javier de Hoyos to shut it down himself,
07:22saying they had simply separated, and that there had been no infidelity from either side. So by
07:27spring he was single, and the Spanish gossip world was watching to see who came next.
07:31The first sighting was quiet. The two of them were spotted having dinner together near Sitges,
07:35at the Cupula del Garef, alongside his Barcelona teammate Fermin Lopez. Two people at a table with
07:41a friend. Nothing you could build a headline on. Then came Greece. Fans filmed them walking hand in
07:46hand while they were away, and that footage went everywhere. A week before the 25th of May,
07:51Marca reported that the Barcelona player had been photographed walking hand in hand with the
07:55influencer Enyaquts Garsha in Greece. No statement. No confirmation. Just two young
07:59people holding hands on a street, recorded by a stranger. That video did two things at once.
08:04It told everybody Lamine Yamel had a girlfriend, and it told everybody her name. Within days Spain
08:10wanted her whole life story, where she was from, what she did, who she was before this. And the internet
08:15did what the internet does when it wants a story faster than the facts can arrive. It made one up.
08:19The version that took off was very specific, and that is exactly why it worked. The claim was that
08:24Enyaquts Garsha had been in a committed five-year relationship with a young man said to be named
08:28Gonzalo, and that she had ended it to chase Yamel, after he slid into her Instagram messages.
08:33Five years, a name, a motive, a method. That is not a rumor, that is a script. It gives people
08:39a villain,
08:39a victim and a betrayal, all in one sentence, and it is short enough to fit in a screenshot. It
08:44spread
08:44through Spanish social media at enormous speed. False information about her and
08:48a friend of hers began circulating, and a great many users decided that friend had been her
08:52partner before she met the Barcelona footballer. A photo of her standing next to a man became the
08:57proof. Users looked at that picture, and decided they were looking at the boyfriend she threw away.
09:02It also stopped being a social media story very quickly. The Spanish journalist Javier de Hoyos,
09:07who had been covering this relationship since the very first rumors, picked the whole thing up and
09:11put it in front of a mainstream audience. At that point, the story was no longer a few thousand
09:16people arguing under a post. It was national. She let it run for a while, and then, on the 19th
09:20of
09:21May, she picked up her phone and recorded a response on her Instagram stories. She started
09:25by admitting she had tried to ignore it. I wasn't going to say anything, or pay any attention to this
09:31issue, or anything at all. I didn't want to get involved in this. But when has it ever been said
09:35that
09:35I had been in a relationship for five years with my friend Gonzalo, and that he left him to be
09:40with
09:40someone else. Listen to the two words that do all the work in that sentence. My friend, not my ex,
09:45not my partner, my friend Gonzalo. Then she went at the quality of the story itself, which is a very
09:50particular kind of frustration. She was not just annoyed that people were lying about her. She was
09:55annoyed that they were lying badly. I wasn't going to give importance to this issue, but it makes no
10:00sense. It makes absolutely no sense. It has no consistency whatsoever. Zero evidence and zero sense.
10:06Zero evidence and zero sense. She said it in that order, and the order matters. First she pointed
10:11out that nobody had produced a single thing to back the story. Then she pointed out that the
10:16story did not even hold together on its own terms. And then she wrote the line that a lot of
10:21people
10:21ended up quoting back at each other for weeks. I don't know where you get everything you make up.
10:26She was reading her own life being invented in real time by people who had never met her,
10:30and she genuinely could not work out where the details were coming from. Because the details kept
10:34arriving. That is the thing about a rumor with a name in it. Once the name exists,
10:38everything else gets built on top of it. A five-year relationship needs a beginning,
10:42so people invented one. A betrayal needs a moment, so people invented that too.
10:47She had already tried to head off one of those invented beginnings, back when the stories about how
10:52she and Yamel met were still forming. That is her describing the kind of fairy tale people had
10:57already written for her, and she was not finished listing them. A card getting declined in a shop.
11:01A hero stepping in to pay. That story was circulating with enough confidence that she
11:05had to sit there and repeat it back before knocking it down. Meanwhile the fact checking
11:10was going in exactly one direction. Independent checks found no verified evidence at all supporting
11:15the claim that she had left a long-term boyfriend for Yamel. It was rooted in speculation and unverified
11:20screenshots and nothing else. And the man himself, the supposed abandoned boyfriend, never came forward to
11:26say a word. No interview. No statement. No angry post. According to what she has said since,
11:30the relationship in question was never romantic in the first place. They were close in the way
11:34family is close, and they were still speaking to each other the whole time strangers were
11:38mourning their fictional breakup. While all of that was happening,
11:41the actual couple did the opposite of hiding. On the 20th of May, the two of them arrived together
11:46at the Casanovas Beach Club in Casteldefels, the venue Barcelona had chosen for the end of season
11:51dinner celebrating the La Liga title. They walked in side by side. They posed for the photographers.
11:56They let themselves be photographed as a couple, at a club event with the whole squad there.
12:00That was the official debut. No announcement. No interview. Just two people arriving somewhere
12:05together and refusing to look embarrassed about it. And they kept doing it. They were seen out
12:09together in Barcelona, including at a Bad Bunny concert in the city, in the same weeks that
12:13strangers online were writing detailed accounts of a relationship she had supposedly just destroyed.
12:18She was not hiding from the story. She was walking straight through the middle of it,
12:22in public with him. Then Yamel ended the argument in the most direct way available to him.
12:26He posted a photo of the two of them together on his own Instagram profile,
12:30where he has more than 40 million followers. 40 million. That is the number that turned
12:35a rumor into a confirmed relationship in a single upload. By the end of that month,
12:39Spanish media were describing her as somebody taking shelter with him from the criticism,
12:44running a photo the couple had shared and noting that ever since the Grease footage appeared,
12:48the two of them had faced a wave of criticism. Or rather, as Marca put it, she had.
12:52She had not both of them, her. And that is the pattern that never changed from May all
12:57the way through to the World Cup final. He played football and got praised for it.
13:01She stood in the stands wearing his number and got investigated for it.
13:04So the obvious question is the one everybody was actually asking underneath all the noise.
13:09If there was no five-year boyfriend, and no dramatic shop meeting, and no airport moment,
13:13then how did a Seville influencer and a Barcelona footballer actually end up together?
13:17She answered that too, on camera. And the real answer is so ordinary,
13:22that a lot of people refuse to believe it. The real story in her own words.
13:27The first time she faced a room full of microphones about any of this was the 5th of June,
13:332026, in Madrid, at an event for the hair brand Redken. It is worth understanding what she was doing
13:38in that room, because a lot of the abuse she has received rests on the idea that she had no
13:42career
13:43before Lama and Yamel. She had a career. She had been building it for years.
13:53Many months, that partnership predates the Greece video, the rumors, and the World Cup entirely.
13:58And it was far from her only one. Before her relationship became public in May, she had
14:02already worked with brands including Yepoda, Women's Secret, and AliExpress, alongside a run of
14:07Spanish fashion and beauty labels. She had launched a dress line called Coco with Closet Barcelona. She was
14:12represented by InManagement, the agency founded by the influencer Dulcita and her mother Anna Pascual.
14:18She had attended the Cosmopolitan España Influencer Awards in November of 2025. That is a working
14:24creator with an agency and a client list, not somebody who appeared out of nowhere holding a trophy.
14:30At that same event, she was asked how she keeps up with the pace of the job.
14:33In that same event, she was asked how she keeps up with the pace of the job.
14:43Then the questions turned, as they always do, to the criticism, and her answer was a lot calmer
14:48than anybody expected. She said the criticism did not offend her, and that boredom does a lot of
14:53work in this world, and she was not bored, which is why she did not read it and did not
14:57want to read
14:57it. She described herself as being in the happiest moment of her life. She ended that interview on the
15:02same note. Very calm, remember that phrase, because six weeks later, she would be writing
15:16about reading hate comments for hours. Now to the part everybody actually wanted. On the 1st of July,
15:222026, she was sitting around waiting for a flight to Lowe's Angels, where Spain were about to play.
15:27She was bored, she had a friend with her, and she finally decided to tell the story herself.
15:35She built it up like a countdown, and then she delivered it flat.
15:44Social media, that is the answer. That is the whole grand romance the internet had spent two
15:49months writing novels about. She knew immediately how anticlimactic it sounded, and she said so.
16:00She wanted a better story too, there just was not one. Reporting on the video noted she was putting
16:06an end to the rumors about how their love story began. And then she did something that quietly
16:10demolished the entire three-week theory. She started talking about pace.
16:23She corrected herself in real time there, because not very fast was not strong enough for what she
16:29meant. Slow, deliberate, given time. That is the language of two people who are careful with each
16:40other. And it is the exact opposite of somebody dropping a five-year relationship the week a
16:45footballer messages her. Then came the detail that makes the timeline make sense.
16:53A lot of time talking before they ever met in person. Months of messages before a single dinner.
17:05Which means that by the time anybody filmed them in Greece, they were not at the beginning of anything.
17:09They were already well into it. That is why she kept insisting the public timeline was wrong.
17:14The public clock started in May. Their clock started much earlier, in a place nobody could
17:19photograph. She has said she has known him for much longer, and she put a boundary on it herself
17:23so nobody could stretch it. Not three years, many more months than people believe. And her boyfriend,
17:29watching this video go up like everybody else, left a comment on it telling her to tell the story
17:33properly. Which is about as close as Lamine Yamel has ever come to publicly discussing his own
17:38relationship. Because that is the other half of this that almost nobody talks about. He has said
17:43essentially nothing. There are no sit-down interviews with him about her. No documentary. No magazine
17:49feature. The only time he has really referred to her in an interview, was in a rapid-fire question
17:54and answer session with El Pais, where he was asked what he is afraid of. His answer, delivered with a
17:59grin,
17:59was my mother and my girlfriend's mother, the two of them together. That is it. That is his entire
18:04public commentary on the relationship that Spain spent three months arguing about. A joke about
18:10being outnumbered by two women who get along too well. Which brings us to the last piece, and this
18:15one is the clearest proof of how far this thing had drifted from reality. While she was being attacked
18:19for her supposed feelings about Yamel, clips went viral that appeared to show her mocking his previous
18:24relationship with Nicki Nicole, and saying she would have picked Jude Bellingham over him. People
18:29shared it as evidence. It ran during the World Cup celebrations. It made her look like a fraud in her
18:33own relationship. The voice in that video was not hers. It belonged to a Spanish journalist named
18:39Juliana Canet, talking about celebrity gossip on her own podcast. A completely different woman,
18:44on a completely different show, whose audio got attached to Eneacute's Garcia's name, and sent around the
18:49world as proof of something she never said. That is the whole story of the last three months in one
18:53example. A stranger's voice, labeled with her face, believed by thousands. So here is where it all
18:59lands. The five-year boyfriend was a friend. The fact checks found nothing behind the story. The shop
19:04meeting and the airport meeting never happened, because they met through messages like millions of
19:08other people their age. The three-week timeline was wrong by many months, and she had said so publicly
19:12before the final. The viral clip that made her look two-faced was another woman entirely,
19:17and the accounts posting her supposed confessions were fake accounts she had to publicly disown.
19:22Every single major claim that spread about Eneacute's Garcia fell apart when somebody checked
19:27it. What did not fall apart was the cost of it. A young woman who already had an agency,
19:31a client list, and a job spent the biggest night of her boyfriend's life reading comments for hours,
19:36and then had to write a statement explaining that she is a person who cries. She never asked anybody to
19:41like her. She said she understands criticism when it comes with respect. She just wanted people to
19:45notice the difference between having an opinion about a stranger and setting out to destroy one.
19:50And the last thing she said in that video before all of this hit her was not about rumors at
19:55all.
20:03She was having a great time with her friend, with her boyfriend, with his family. That was all that
20:08was ever going on.
