01:03I think the reason why he's doing this is a smart reason.
01:06And it's to get the fans and everybody off Mendoza's back.
01:11It tells you right now that Mendoza's going to sit.
01:14And he's going to sit for a week or two or maybe three.
01:19He's going to play the majority of the games.
01:21And he's going to start the majority of the game for the Raiders.
01:25But he, Joe, has, like, another month or so to develop and prepare.
01:31I think it's a great decision, man.
01:33We need to go back to those days in the 2000s and the 90s with the quarterback position.
01:39Just because the guys are making so much money doesn't mean that it's not okay for them to sit two
01:45or three games at the start of the season.
01:47And because of the guaranteed money, Joe, of $50 million or $40 million, whatever it is, it seems like organizations
01:52are forced immediately to play the guy.
01:55You're still going to have him for years before he hits that mega contract.
01:59And I don't think two or three games makes any difference.
