00:01I was working at the time, so I had to get up, go to work and then come back.
00:06I was tentative about, do I really want to be in a band, you know, I was brought up in
00:10this world where you left school and you got a job, and it was a very straight world where
00:14I came from, and so it was a dilemma for me, it was.
00:19That's when we then really started applying ourselves.
00:23John always turned up and he always had like a little plastic carrier bag with scraps of
00:28paper and them, with ideas for lyrics.
00:30And Malcolm had always been going on that we should write a manifesto, and it goes back
00:35to his sort of 60s Hedwig prop days.
00:38Now one day, I'd been having a guy at Steve was saying, I've been coming up with a few
00:43ideas, why don't you come up with something?
00:45And he sort of played a couple of things and they weren't that good.
00:48And he went, oh, you're so clever, what have you got there?
00:51So I just played.
00:55And he went, yeah.
00:57And I went.
01:01And he went, yeah.
01:04Yeah.
01:09And he went, oh, I like that.
01:10He said, what comes next?
01:21And that's when John said, timely, you've got something to go with his lyrics.
01:27I am an anticoaster.
01:30I am an anarchist.
01:34I am an anarchist.
01:38¡Gracias!
