00:01Not to be completely confirmed as we get underway, Forrest playing left to right in this first half at the
00:10Estadio Algarve and Sporting giving the ball away cheaply and what is a half chance here inside the area, Chris
00:17Ward it's saved on the follow-up it's going to be in the net, Igor Jesus keeps up his great
00:25goal scoring record, that's four goals in four games.
00:30Now, a very soft goal for Sporting to give away, he'll be furious, Igor Jesus just can't stop scoring at
00:44the moment, he won't score many easier than that, really sloppy from Sporting, Chris Ward timed his run to perfection.
00:55Rui Silva with the save, but could only palm it into the path of Igor Jesus, he scored six goals
01:04in the Premier League last season, and he's showing really good form pre-season here, the Brazilian, early lead for
01:10Forrest.
01:15Rui Silva comes, Dumbia, layoff for Zalazar, that's a shot on target from Rodrigo Zalazar, just shoveled away by Matzels,
01:27Dumbia, shot from Dumbia, it's defected away for a corner off the head of Nikola Milenkovic, good strike from Dumbia.
01:38Dumbia, get in the way there, ball bouncing around inside the area, and it's all stopped by Matzels, the Forrest
01:49players were looking for a handball in there somehow.
01:53This time it's in the net though, Forrest unable to keep it out, Inacio denied the first time, but not
02:01the second, and Sporting, back on level terms, after a wonderful save from Matzels to deny the Sporting captain from
02:13close range.
02:19Gonzalo Odacio, leveling the scores, another well-delivered corner kick from Zalazar, perfectly placed header, no chance for Zalazar.
02:37Sporting one, Nottingham Forrest one, Nottingham Forrest one.
02:46Corner kick is prevented.
02:54And has done well to win it back.
02:58And there's Inacio's header away.
03:03Very ambitious effort from...
03:07I was looking forward to seeing Javier Schlager, the Austrian international who's been signed by Forrest.
03:14Offside flag is up.
03:18I thought we might see Schlager in this game tonight, but he played in the earlier game against Portam and
03:24then scored a good goal.
03:25So he's not in the squad for this game this evening.
03:32Let's see from that replay.
03:34Jenny Catamo is well offside.
03:48Oh, what a ball that was.
03:51Really good delivery from the Uruguay, nobody able to apply a finish.
03:56Super ball into the area though, so hard to defend when it's between the goalkeeper and the defenders.
04:05I think the presence there of Milenkovic was enough just to put Inacio off, a little tough.
04:14Sanlizar's cross towards the back post. Very well defended that time by Abbott.
04:20Estadio Algarve, perfect start for Nottingham Forest with that goal after two minutes from Igor Jesus.
04:26But Gonzalo Inacio in shot there with the equalizer, a wonderful header on 14 minutes from a corner kick.
04:33Jesus, four goals in four games preseason for him.
04:42Looks like Fresneda is on for Vayanidis.
04:54Dumbia helping it into the area.
04:56Did mention in the first half that Oliver Glasner's options on the bench are relatively limited.
05:02Doesn't have the longest subs bench tonight.
05:09McAtee's ball towards the near post.
05:12Wood with a real chance, oh good block on the double there.
05:15From Maxi Orojo.
05:20Drilled out with that left foot of his to Nico Williams.
05:23Williams with the cross on the header.
05:26Coming in from Chris Wood, just couldn't hit the target.
05:29From Wood for that cross from Williams.
05:33This was the double chance for Wood.
05:37Locked on both occasions by Maxi Orojo.
05:45Taking on Abbott.
05:47Goes one way and then the other.
05:49The shuttle!
05:50Just too high.
05:52Just too high.
05:54I myself was grateful to see that one go over the crossbar.
06:03Very direct glare.
06:05Rodriguez-Alazar.
06:06Only one thing on his mind.
06:09It was a good strike as well.
06:17Fresneda was a little short.
06:19And Wood here with a chance.
06:20Oh, he's missed it.
06:21What a glorious opportunity that was for Chris Wood to put Forrest back in front.
06:26An error by the substitute from Virginia.
06:30Was left a little short by Fresneda's back header.
06:37Goalkeeper still should have cleared that.
06:40And Wood probably had more time than he realized.
06:43That's a disappointing finish from the big New Zealander.
06:47Should be 2-1.
06:52Like the extended holiday.
06:54Again, a bit like Luis Suarez managing his game time as the ball comes in.
06:58Well claimed by Gerard Virginia this time.
07:02They'll be glad to...
07:05Aida going backwards and he's been dispossessed by Jenny Katamo who has Zalazar outside.
07:11Here is Rodrigo Zalazar.
07:13Dangerous cross.
07:14First time effort.
07:25Salazar has a lookup slides it through for Dumbia.
07:28Oh, he's done well here.
07:29Dumbia!
07:30That's a smashing goal.
07:36Very, very well taken.
07:38Very, very well taken.
07:42Issa Dumbia, his second goal for Sporting having scored in the 7-0 win against Transport.
07:48Ten days ago.
07:50It was a lovely assist from Rodrigo Zalazar.
07:56But Dumbia still had plenty to do.
07:59And he took it very, very well.
08:10He sent Zach Abbott for his lunch.
08:15Before picking his spot.
08:21Sporting have come from behind to lead 2-1.
08:34And Dumbia, 20 million euros signing from Benetia.
08:39But he's the perfect age profile.
08:42He's only 22.
08:45Now, needed a better ball that time to Luis Guillerme who'd made a very good run.
08:53Here's Orojo now.
08:55Dumbia once more.
08:56Buzz in the crowd every time he gets the ball.
08:59And a chance for three.
09:00Oh!
09:01So well taken.
09:02The substitute.
09:03He's only on the field a few moments.
09:05Raphael no.
09:07Makes it 3-1.
09:09Delightful header.
09:13What a lovely ball from Dumbia as well.
09:21Rui Borges must be absolutely thrilled with that.
09:25He might look at it as they analyze the footage.
09:33What a clever ball that was from Dumbia.
09:36Very well taken header by Nel.
09:41Portuguese under 20 international.
09:44Showing international class with that finish.
09:47For 3-1.
09:52There have been some rumors linking.
09:56Let's see what happens with this course here.
09:59Flapped away.
10:00And blocked by Real Virginia on the follow-up.
10:03To deny.
10:04Igor Jesus.
10:09Flapped away.
10:09For Liam Dillap.
10:12From Chelsea.
10:16Gonsalves.
10:17Back to Nel again.
10:18That's really nicely done.
10:19Oh!
10:19Super goal.
10:22That is quality.
10:29Two of the younger ranks.
10:32Showing what they can do.
10:34Second goal of the game.
10:36For Raphael Nel.
10:38Credit as well.
10:41To Flavio Gonzalez for his role in that.
10:51Pointed to where he wanted to play.
10:53And was given on a plate to Raphael Nel.
10:58And that's slick finishing as well.
11:01Top class football for 4-1.
11:06Sporting.
11:07Cruising now.
11:23The save is made by Mansells in the end to deny Pedro Lima.
11:27He's looking for his first ever goal for Sporting.
11:43They'll go into their match against Estrella next weekend.
11:46On a high to start their league campaign.
11:48It's the full-time whistle sounds at the Estadio Algarve.
11:52Good night for Rui Fortes' men.
11:54Despite a wobbly start after Igor Jesus scored after just two minutes.
11:59With two goals in the second half from that young man there.
12:01Raphael Nel.
12:03Rounding off a 4-1 victory.
12:05Gonzalo Inacio and Luisa Dumbia.
12:08The other scorers for Sporting on the night.
12:10Another good performance from Rodrigo Zalazar there.
12:14Dumbia.
12:15With a lovely goal.
12:16And a super assist for Raphael Nel's opening goal.
12:20Bellissimo coming in.
12:22The likes of him.
12:22Jesse Derry.
12:24And Nel in particular.
12:27Flavio Gonzalez with his assists.
12:29The signs are good for Sporting.
12:30Ahead of the league campaign.
12:32Monaghan Forest need improvement.
12:34But they'll be well aware of that.
12:36And with plenty more big name players still to come back into the team.
12:39But a final score.
12:41Anastadio Algarve on the night.
12:44Sporting 4.
12:45Nottingham Forest 1.
12:47But myself, Con Murphy and the team here.
12:49It's bye for now.
12:49Oh, my God.
12:51Yeah.
12:54Yeah.
13:04.
