Ground squirrels, also known as susliks, take the spotlight in this short wildlife film, a playful reel built from footage originally filmed for a Nat Geo documentary. It’s a simple, charming look at these small animals in action, edited as a light showcase rather than a full nature feature.
After a challenging 18 months, George is back in Greece and settling near Lake Kerkini while sorting out a new base of operations. In the meantime, this wildlife short offers a welcome pause: a compact animal film, a nature reel, and a behind-the-scenes slice of field footage repurposed into a fun little edit.
Created for viewers who enjoy wildlife shorts, nature documentaries, animal footage, and compact wildlife showreels, especially ground squirrels, susliks, and European wildlife scenes. It also fits searches for short wildlife films, documentary animal clips, and relaxing nature viewing.
