00:27I receive this honour with absolute humility.
00:32An award may bear one's person's names, but every achievement is the result of many
00:40hands and many hearts working together.
00:43I therefore dedicate this recognition to my colleagues at Martha's City Fund, to my
00:50family, and to every employee whose dedication, integrity, and commitment have strengthened
00:57our institution over the years.
00:59I feel particularly honoured because this award carries the name of Professor Jay Phillip,
01:06a legendary management educator and institution builder who believed that education should
01:13produce leaders with confidence, character, and compassion.
01:18His life reminds us that institutions become great not because of infrastructure, but
01:24because of the values they uphold and the people they nurture.
01:29Our generation is witnessing transformation at an unimaginable pace.
01:36Artificial intelligence is redefining industries.
01:40Automation is changing workplaces.
01:43Digital technologies are transforming customer expectations.
01:48Business models are evolving by the day.
01:52Knowledge has become available instantly.
01:56In such a world, management education cannot remain confined to classrooms or textbooks.
02:02If education prepares students only for today's jobs, it has already fallen behind.
02:09Education must prepare students for tomorrow's challenges, many of which we cannot even foresee today.
02:17That requires visionary leadership and this does not predict the future, but they prepare people to succeed in it.
02:26One lesson I have learnt during my professional journey is that no institution can remain successful
02:32merely because of its glorious past.
02:36Every institution must continuously evolve and mark the city.
02:42We have always believed that embracing change is essential for sustaining excellence.
02:48Today we are investing in digital transformation, enterprise-wide technology platforms,
02:55artificial intelligence, and process improvements, not because technology is fashionable,
03:00but because our customers deserve faster, better, and more transparent services.
03:08Technology should never replace people but empower them.
03:13When technology is combined with human values, organizations get stronger.
03:21This is equally true for educational institutions.
03:24The classroom of the future will not be limited by four walls.
03:30Learning will become continuous, collaborative, and technology-enabled.
03:37As it was mentioned, I was about 30 years when my father-in-law said I would be the managing
03:45director of the company,
03:46which was already 30 plus years.
03:49And the company was about 12 branches then and with 100 crores turnover.
03:55But I knew that this company had the potential and it could be leveraged,
04:00and what it needed is somebody who is focused and good leadership.
04:04So I imagined this company could achieve 10,000 crores turnover and that it could build a network of 250
04:14branches in the year 1995.
04:17So one needs to have imagination, one needs to dream bigger if you want to achieve something in life.
04:26The concept is one of the best practices.
04:26one is going to be a beautiful friend, two is going to love their family,
04:26I was just a long time.
04:26And so I've asked for them to go to the next level of your friends.
04:26I was顧력ed.
