Everyone wants the rarest item on the server, and here that means racing for the one-and-only Disc 5 before anyone else can claim it. With the End not yet open, the hunt shifts to the ancient city in the deep dark, where nine disc fragments are needed and every trip underground risks wardens, betrayal, and losing everything.
After gearing up on the ShowTime SMP, the team allies with Zolister to gather fragments and make a play for the server’s most valuable Minecraft item. But once the pieces are nearly secured, enemies take them, forcing a dangerous hunt for the missing fragments, a trap for Flame Frags, and a high-stakes duel over who gets to keep the disc. What starts as a trading plan turns into a tense PvP story about trust, revenge, and one last chance to craft Disc 5.
This Minecraft SMP story is perfect for fans of survival multiplayer, ancient city raids, deep dark exploration, and competitive PvP drama. It blends gameplay commentary, server politics, and a rare-item chase into a fast-paced episode with real stakes.

00:00Everyone wants to become rich, and what better way to do so than obtaining the server's most valuable item, the
00:05dragon egg.
00:06One slight issue, however, the end hasn't opened yet.
00:08So, I thought of what the next worst item was and realized something.
00:12This server's world border is only a thousand blocks wide, and there is only one ancient city.
00:16And the hardest thing to get from it is disc 5, requiring 9 fragments just to make 1, which makes
00:20it the singular disc 5 on this server.
00:23But, I wasn't the only one who wanted it, so that's why, when I joined the Showtime SMP, I prepared
00:28as fast as I could.
00:291, 2, 1...
00:30It's Showtime.
00:31Yo, there's actually a lot of emeralds.
00:32Ooh, sh-
00:33He's dead, it's the lifetime.
00:35Yo, jpegs, you might want to get out of here.
00:37Gotta go, go, go, go, go, go.
00:38I'm gonna- I'm gonna go to the game, I'm getting out of the game.
00:41Um, so, Flamefrax?
00:43I'm the wise bro, get it out.
00:46You can have all my meat! You can have all my meat!
00:48Have my meat!
00:52They're killing more people, bruh.
00:53About an hour into the server, my team had decent gear and were about ready to venture down to the
00:57deep dark and enter the ancient city.
00:59So, I made my way underground.
01:02But, just when I thought I was ahead of the competition, a mysterious player joined the call.
01:06I'm trying to get all the disc fragments.
01:08So, if you want- if you guys want to go to the ancient city and loot it, I can
01:12grant you my allyship.
01:14And I can get you whatever you need.
01:15This player named Zulcer made a compelling argument for himself.
01:18So, we decided to ally with him to collect the 9 fragments needed to craft disc 5.
01:22Although he seemed a little suspicious about why he wanted the disc, we didn't question it for now, since more
01:27people with us meant less people to compete against.
01:29So, we all met up underground and eventually managed to find a deep dark buy.
01:33Let's get to us as quick as possible.
01:35Oh, I found it. Okay, I'm in the city.
01:36Four wardens around me.
01:38Oh, guys! I need the bed!
01:41Ah! I'm going.
01:42I found a chest.
01:43Oh! I got two fragments! I got two!
01:45I found a third of one! Okay, I have three total. I have three.
01:47You're mining! You're mining block!
01:49Oh, Jesus!
01:50I'm gonna have a heart, guys! I'm gonna die!
01:52Just eat up! Just eat up! Just eat up!
01:54I'm gonna have a heart!
01:55We might have looted this whole place. Wait, how many disc fragments do we have? We need nine.
01:58I have two, so that's five.
02:00I think they took everything else, so I'm gonna be honest. I think you're gonna do it.
02:02Okay, so how much is it?
02:04Nine in total.
02:05Nine? Exactly nine in total? That's awesome!
02:07And with that, we now have the perfect amount of disc fragments to create disc five.
02:11We all headed towards the surface, and we're about to meet up to combine what we just risked our lives
02:15for, but then...
02:17Yeah! What's up?
02:21Wait, wait! I have you!
02:23Oh, no!
02:24I'm dead!
02:25No!
02:26Oh, shoot!
02:27I told you, we shouldn't have done it!
02:28Wait, wait, JPEX, you put the fragments in the chest, right?
02:31Uh, no, I didn't. I did not put the fragments in the chest.
02:34JPEX, why?!
02:35Thank you!
02:36Why?!
02:36We lost the fragments.
02:38The enemies took our hope from us just as we were about to complete our task of obtaining the server's
02:42rarest item,
02:43leaving us with less than enough pieces to craft the disc.
02:46This was a huge loss for us considering we'd spent the entire first few hours of the server trying to
02:50get them.
02:51But, we weren't just gonna give up that easily.
02:53And luckily, another player on the server had a lead for us.
02:56See, the team who took our disc fragments spread them out among all of their allies so that we wouldn't
03:01be able to get them back so easily.
03:02But we heard rumors that one of these players, named Flamefrags, was in possession of three fragments himself.
03:08And since I and another teammate didn't die and lose our pieces, we still had six.
03:12Meaning, if we could kill Flamefrags before he stashed them, then we would be able to get back to nine
03:16total and craft the disc.
03:18Luckily for us, one of our allies was watching Flamefrags earlier and tracked him to his base.
03:22We knew exactly where he was.
03:24And now all we had to do was get him to log on and then kill him.
03:28So, we messaged Flame saying that we wanted to do a trade.
03:31And although he could have been suspicious, he also didn't have much to lose yet, so he actually responded saying
03:36he'd be on in a couple of minutes.
03:38This was a perfect setup.
03:40So, my team navigated to where he supposedly logged out and prepared to take back what was ours.
03:46Alright, this is where he dies.
03:48Oh, awesome.
03:49Okay, squad, squad, squad, squad, squad, squad, squad, squad, squad.
03:51Turn off, mute your mic.
03:54Alright, he's logging out, he's logging out, he's logging out, he's logging out, he's logging out.
03:57Oh, he's down there.
03:59Shh, shh, shh, shh.
04:04He's over here, he's right here, he's over here, he's over here.
04:06Fill him.
04:07Fill him, come, fill him, come.
04:08Wait, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold over.
04:10Okay, waiting.
04:11I don't even have anything.
04:12Any last words, any last words, Flamefrag?
04:14Well, this is quite pointless.
04:20I built a lot of them.
04:22Oh, okay, that's great.
04:24Shit.
04:25We had done it.
04:27We got all 9 of our disc crappings back, needed to craft disc 5.
04:30So Zalcer and I made our way back to our base, and all seemed well.
04:34Things were almost too good to be true.
04:36That I remembered something crucial.
04:39I just wanted the disc to have leverage for trades because of its rarity.
04:42But Zalcer on the other hand, never told us why he did.
04:45And after the amount of effort we all went through just to get it,
04:48I wanted to raise the stakes one more time.
04:52Yo, Rasplinn!
04:54You still have the 3 disc fragments, right?
04:57Yeah, they're in my interest still.
04:58What's up?
04:59Yeah, okay, so we have enough to craft the disc now.
05:01So if you hand me your disc fragments, we can craft the disc 5.
05:07Yeah, about that, you want me to just give you them for free, right?
05:11I mean, yeah, that's what we agreed on, right?
05:14That's what we were trying to do.
05:16I mean, we're making the disc.
05:17I'm not going to lie, I've been thinking about it a little bit.
05:19We all worked to get those, and I don't know how I feel about just handing them over.
05:23Like, do I get anything in return?
05:24Like, you haven't even told me your plan, what you're going to do with the disc yet.
05:27So I'm not even sure if I should give you them, you know?
05:30Okay.
05:30I mean, that's fair.
05:31But like...
05:32I had something else in mind.
05:33Something that would let you be more worthy.
05:36What do you say we have a duel to settle it?
05:39Duel.
05:39Whoever wins gets all the disc fragments.
05:41Is that something?
05:43Okay.
05:43You know what?
05:44Sure.
05:44Yeah, let's do that.
05:45Yeah?
05:46All right.
05:46Let's do it.
05:46A duel for all the pieces.
05:48If I defeat Xolaster, there's nothing stopping him from getting vengeance and griefing our base,
05:52taking all my belongings with it.
05:54However, if he wins, then he's completed his main goal.
05:57But either way, this fight would be the first test of each other's will.
06:02Right?
06:02Yeah.
06:03I did not expect to have like a crowd watching us, but this is pretty sick.
06:07Oh, yeah.
06:08This might be the most valuable item on the server.
06:11And whoever wins here gets it.
06:14Let's do this.
06:15Concha, you ready to count us down?
06:16Yes.
06:17All right.
06:17I want you both to go when I say go.
06:20Three, two, one, go!
06:30All right.
06:30Keep going down here.
06:37I'm going to get a Rassplain.
06:40Just getting started now.
06:41Do you have homonyms?
06:43I do.
06:50I worked a while to get them.
06:53Just so I'd get a half.
06:54I'll have a little.
06:55So I'd have a little bit more gum on you.
06:58Over here.
07:00I'm going to get those.
07:03I'm going to get those fragments.
07:04No matter what.
07:05No matter what happens.
07:06I'm going to get those fragments.
07:07Even if I lose here.
07:09Yeah, of course.
07:12Yeah, that hurt.
07:13That hurt.
07:13Didn't it?
07:16Oh, he broke my steel.
07:18Your steel just broke?
07:19No.
07:20Oh, no.
07:21It's not looking good now.
07:30I'm not going to lose to you, Rassplain.
07:33Oh, my gosh.
07:34Oh, my gosh.
07:36I almost don't have a heart.
07:37The endermite.
07:38The endermite.
07:43Oh, he's got a fire raise.
07:45You know what that means.
07:47Give me something.
07:48Oh, my gosh.
07:49Yes.
07:51This is it, Rassplain.
07:52Oh, my gosh.
07:54Come on.
07:55You're going to die here.
07:56Oh, my gosh.
07:59This is it.
08:05You're going to die here, Rassplain.
08:09No.
08:11Yes.
08:13GG.
08:15As much as I want the disc, Rassplain, you won.
08:19So here's the disc fragments.
08:20I won the duel.
08:22Now, I would be able to craft disc 5, the server's current rares item,
08:26giving me huge trading power and fulfilling my main goal of the server so far.
08:30However, even though I'd just done all of this,
08:33something didn't slip right with me
08:35with taking something that seemed to mean more to my own teammate than it did to me.
08:39I couldn't just let this be how this whole adventure ends.
08:42And so...
08:43Hm.
08:44Xolister, you did lose.
08:46But, um, I was thinking, right?
08:50Yeah.
08:50You've wanted these disc fragments since the start of the server, day one.
08:54Honestly, I didn't really care for them that much.
08:56I was thinking.
08:58Yeah?
08:59I just want to give you them because I don't know what you're going to do with them,
09:03but it's what we started the server together with,
09:05and I hope whatever you do, it's what we end the server with as well.
09:08So, yeah, you can just have them.
09:11Just promise me, since I'm giving you these,
09:13whatever you do with them is something great.
09:15Okay?
09:16Okay.
09:17I promise you.
09:19Thank you so much.
09:20This is the only disc 5 on this entire server.
09:24Let's craft it and let's listen to it together.
09:25This is a one-of-a-kind disc on the server.
09:27Yeah.
09:28And, uh, this may be the most valuable item.
09:31Yeah.
09:31I love this part.
09:32Oh, yeah.
09:33This is my favorite part.
09:34This is great.
09:36Hopefully we can't.
09:37This is awesome.
09:39This is it.
09:42Rasplen, I want to thank you for, um,
09:46you know, giving me this disc, I guess.
09:48And this is the start of a new beginning.
09:53This is the start of, uh, something great.
