00:00And lastly Manoj sir, I have a slightly different question. Since it's the age of the internet,
00:04every new thing keeps on going viral now and then. There's this one clip from Samay Rana's show
00:08wherein him and some guests on the show, they were discussing about immigrants. Samay being
00:15from Kashmir and the guests being from Bihar. So they were going at about the jokes at each other.
00:20Immigrants have to leave their house, their own native and then they move to a different city
00:24for work or for anything in life. Do you think it should be looked at it just as a joke
00:28or people
00:29these days read too much into it? Read what? I mean, if two people…
00:34So basically it has polarized, the guest was from Bihar, Samay is from Kashmir and they're joking
00:39about each other, their backgrounds and how things have turned up for them in life.
00:43If it is all in joke and you know, just actually don't mind it. You know, we should learn to
00:52laugh
00:52at ourselves and laugh together, laugh at each other and still not be hurt and offended.
01:02So this is what we should learn. We should have humor about ourselves but at the same time
01:09we should have respect. Not only for ourselves but also for the person that you are sitting with
01:15and where that person comes from. It's very, very important. If two people are very easy with each other,
01:23they always laugh at each other. I mean, this is what we've done from…
01:30I mean, when I was in Delhi, I was eighteen and a half and I was trying to get into
01:36a transport,
01:39a bus from the front door because this is my first time. So I didn't know the rule of the
01:46city.
01:47So the driver looked by, you know, shouted at me. Eh, Bihari peechai se haa.
01:53So, he didn't know that I was from Bihar but in actuality I was from Bihar.
01:57So for him, every person who was doing that kind of a, you know, foolish mistake was from Bihar.
02:04I didn't mind it. A, he was right that I was from Bihar. B, I was not wrong because I
02:12was new
02:13to the city and I was completely unfamiliar. Anyone would have done that.
02:16Okay. But when I made friends with people from different states, we used to laugh at each other
02:20and we always… At the same time, we never got offended or hurt. But yes, there is a problem if
02:30somebody coming from somewhere becomes a problem for you or becomes a problem for the community,
02:37then there is a problem. Till then, it's… We should be able to laugh at each other,
02:44laugh at ourselves. That's a sign of a very healthy society.
