RUTH - The Faithful Moabite - Part 1: The Decision
In the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land. A woman named Naomi lost everything in Moab - her husband and her two sons. She decided to return to Bethlehem, alone.
But her daughter-in-law Ruth said: "Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God."
Why would a young Moabite woman leave her own country, her family, her gods, to follow an old widow to a strange land?
This is the beginning of one of the most beautiful loyalty stories in the Bible. Ruth didn't arrive alone - she arrived WITH Naomi, out of pure love and faith.
