45:24So, I have been incredibly stressed, um, for the last week or so.
45:29Actually, about two weeks.
45:32As you know, I, it took forever to get accepted into the university.
45:37Apparently, there was a lot of, um, applications for them to go through.
45:41As a result of the, honestly, it took, what, three weeks rather than the three days they originally told me?
45:47Due to that happening, um, the classes I needed got filled up very quickly.
45:53There was one class that I was available to take, but, so, it was chemistry two.
45:58It was the second level of chemistry, and, you know, that was available.
46:03So, you have, like, the chemistry lecture three times a week, and then you had the lab, which is one
46:07time a week.
46:08So, I would have to go back to school four times a week.
46:11Um, I need bio, bio level two.
46:14Like, uh, it, it was, it, physiology.
46:17So, I wanted to go for physiology, but there was only two sections in the entire school.
46:23And one of them overlapped with the chemistry.
46:27So, that one, I couldn't get into, because it overlapped with the single chemistry section.
46:33The bio, but that was the only bio that was open.
46:36The other one was online and booked up.
46:38It wasn't booked up by the time I applied, but they took so long processing my application that it filled
46:44up.
46:44So, I was like, dang, that sucks.
46:46Then, in the meantime, I noticed that for chemistry, no, so, for bio, was it bio?
46:51Oh, yeah, bio.
46:53Bio, I needed, I think it was five credits, which was weird.
47:04No, it was, no, it was four credits.
47:06I needed four credits of bio, but that course was only three.
47:10And so, then, I didn't realize that.
47:13So, then, I had to speak to the department head for the, the, for the program I was applying to
47:22get into.
47:22All these prereqs were for, were to get into this program.
47:27So, I'm explaining this right.
47:29I had to speak to the department head because she told me I only needed this bio.
47:32So, turns out, that class offered at the school, which she is a part of the school faculty, it didn't
47:41qual, it didn't help me qualify.
47:43So, then, she didn't tell me this, but I needed an extra bio she didn't tell me about.
47:47So, then, I was like, okay, great.
47:49Maybe I can just do that bio alone.
47:52At the time, that was Friday.
47:54That was last Friday.
47:56I was, I was, I was emailing with her, and she told me, yes, you do need that.
48:00So, I'm like, okay, fine.
48:01I wasn't home.
48:02I was actually up in Connecticut.
48:04I was like, when I get home, I will, you know, enroll in both my classes.
48:09And they worked.
48:09So, I was like, okay, cool.
48:11I didn't, like, the Wi-Fi.
48:12I was on my phone.
48:13So, enrolling in classes on your phone with, in, in a browser is just not ideal.
48:19I wanted to be there on my laptop.
48:21I wanted to check the professors.
48:22I wanted to check the times.
48:23I wanted to make sure everything was good.
48:24It looked fine.
48:25So, I got home, and everything was booked.

48:31The bio, the chemistry, everything.

48:35I was wait-listed.
48:37And it frustrated me because I didn't know this, but the, the Friday before classes begin,
48:44the credit cap for every student enrolling in the fall semester was lifted.
48:50So, any extra classes that students wanted to take, it was like, you know, they were like,
48:56run it at them, you know?
48:57Like, they were like, okay, I'm going to load up on these credits.
49:00So, after 19, I think 19 is the, is the limit.
49:04They lifted that limit.
49:05So, any available spots that were available, any spots that were available were immediately
49:11taken because that day, when she got back to me, it was lifted.
49:15So, I was wait-listed.
49:17And so, I sat here this week waiting to see if I was going to be able to get into
49:20my courses,
49:21and I wasn't.
49:22Um, I'm still on wait-list.
49:24So, I decided I'm going to wait till spring to go back to school.
49:28And this is actually way better because then I will have, not priority, but I'll be able
49:33to get into the classes I need early.
49:35And on top of that, I can then review Chemistry 1 and Bio 1.
49:40Um, so I can go in with a much stronger foundation and not be as stressed.
49:46And then in the meantime, I was thinking maybe, like, in the fall, not fall, in the winter
49:50session, I'd be able to take that, like, bio.
49:53Because the bio lab- the bio I need is also- is a lab.
49:57It's basically learning instrumentation, um, lab instruments, writing reports, and doing
50:03presentations in a lab.
50:05So, it's not as, like, credit-heavy, but it was needed.
50:09So, I think that's what I'm gonna do.
50:14It just sucks because it's expensive, but at least I'll have some time to breathe.

50:31And I'm doing it non-digitally because I just like having, um, the- the problems in
50:39front of me where I can write it down on, like, the piece of paper, um, work out the

50:51It's not a degree, it's a certificate.
50:52So, I'm looking to do CLS, which is a Clinical Laboratory Science, um, certification.
50:58And that's what I'm looking to do.
51:03Yeah, so the thing is, uh, winter and summer, the courses I'll be going for, I- they have
51:09to be in person because it's gonna be, like, lab equipment.
51:11I can't do that online.
51:12I- I wish I could do it online, but I can't.
