00:00When I first picked up the script for this movie, I read it, and it just really, really moved me.
00:06That bond between human and dog, dog and human, is something quite incredible.
00:12My old friend David Ayer was already on this project, and it just made sense that we should go do
00:18this together.
00:21In our story, James and Oden have both retired from the military.
00:28And they're off now for their golden years.
00:31No, you did not.
00:34But they become stuck in the wilderness.
00:41And it's their bond that keeps them fighting and moving forward.
00:44No one's coming for us.
00:46We're just going to have to do this the hard way.
00:51James and Oden never give up on each other.
00:54They would sacrifice themselves in a heartbeat for the other.
00:57I'm not going to let you die out here.
01:03This is, on its surface, a survival movie.
01:06But underneath its surface, it's a love story.
01:11I was absolutely absorbed by these characters.
01:14There's deep, deep heart in this movie.
01:20The experience cemented what I know to be true about our relationship with dogs and their relationship with us.
01:27That intense loyalty and the love is unconditional.
01:32We're less alone in the world because of our dogs.
01:35I'll get you home.
01:36This is, on its own.
01:39This is, on its own.
01:39This is, on its own.
01:41This is, on its own.
01:42This is, on its own.
01:42This is, on its own.
01:42This is, on its own.
01:42This is, on its own.
