00:02NASA's newest crown jewel is hurtling through space on a mission to reveal some of the universe's biggest mysteries.
00:18SpaceX launched the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope aboard a Falcon Heavy rocket early Sunday morning.
00:25The $4.3 billion telescope is now headed to an observation point about a million miles from Earth,
00:32the same region of space as the Webb Space Telescope.
00:36This bus-sized telescope, named after NASA's first chief astronomer, the late Nancy Grace Roman,
00:42will take more than three months to get there.
00:45Once in place, Roman will use a 300-megapixel camera with a field of view 100 times wider than Hubble's
00:53to allow it to map huge sections of the universe.
00:56It'll also search for clues about dark energy,
01:00the mysterious force speeding up the expansion of the universe,
