00:00Now I could be crazy. The Browns also kept all four of their quarterbacks were only Dylan
00:05Gabriel's going on EIL. I think the start, but it's again, what is it? If you have four quarterbacks,
00:12you don't have any, and it feels like the, you know, 53 man roster, Craig, when you're down to
00:19that point, you need depth at certain positions. I don't know that you need four quarterbacks in
00:25depth, unless of course you're not planning on things going very well. Well, you don't need four
00:32if you think you have two good ones and they don't have one good one. Probably that's really
00:38the reality in Cleveland. So yeah, yeah. Their, their situation is, is bizarre. And it does feel
00:46to me that, and you know, I don't know a ton about Arizona. I haven't followed Arizona that closely,
00:50but it feels like Cleveland and Miami or as they would say, Joe, a race to the bottom here,
00:56the signals that I'm getting from Cleveland are just obviously awful. I think they're starting
01:01Deshaun Watson. They're not starting to punish him. I mean, that's ridiculous, but I think they
01:06are starting him because he's just getting paid so much money that they're like, we're going to make
01:09you earn this money for as long as we can, even if we lose. And then Miami, oh my gosh,
01:15boy,
01:15the signals are awful here because they picked up seven new players today. Wait a second.
01:25Here you had the draft. You had all off season. I know that you couldn't sign a lot of guys
01:31with
01:31the cap. Joe, you got to be really worried about the dolphins right now that there were seven players
01:37on other teams that they thought were better than the ones that they've had for the last four months.
01:43So I'm starting to think, I'm starting to think about taking the Raiders week one, man. Like,
01:47I don't know. Like, I think, I think the Dolphins could be in for a really, really long season.
01:53Not one of the Miami players that got cut, not one of them got picked up on waivers, not one,
01:58but yet they've picked up seven guys that were cut on other teams. So that tells you
02:03everything you need to know. And by the way, it wasn't just the Browns, the Vikings,
02:08although it does look like it's being reported. Max Brosmer was eventually cut.
02:12So it's only three for the Vikings. But the Eagles kept Jalen Hurts, Tanner McGee,
02:18Andy Dalton, and Cole Payton. The Steelers kept Aaron Rodgers, Mason Rudolph, Will Harrod,
02:23and Drew Allar. And the Falcons, which you and I talked about this last week, this shouldn't really
02:28come as a shock, but Michael Penix Jr., two is on the team. Cooper Rush and something called Jack
02:35Strand is on the team as well. So, I mean, that's four teams that are holding four quarterbacks,
02:42and heading into the season acting as if they're going to be fine. Now, I get Penix Jr. likely not
02:48going to be the week one starter, even though they have not officially said who's going to start,
02:53but we know he's hurt. We know he's still recovering from the injury. So like you said,
02:57it's one thing, three quarterbacks, I get it. Your starter is hurt. You've got a backup. You got
03:02somebody else backing him. Unless these teams don't feel like, do the Eagles need four quarterbacks?
03:10I thought Tanner McGee was the quarterback of the future. Why is Andy Dalton still on the team?
03:14Unless you're hoping to trade something for them. I don't know.
03:18I think that's it. I think that's it. I think, Joe, there's a handful of teams
03:21in the league that don't have that. Look, none of these guys are good backups or third stringers,
03:26but I think that they think maybe their third or fourth stringers are better than the third and
03:33even backup quarterbacks on some of the other teams. I mean, look, say what you want about Kyle
03:39McCord, who we have no idea what he is. The Dolphins ended up having to give up a draft pick
03:45in August for Kyle McCord. Like that's not free. And I understand, look, a sixth round pick is not
03:51that much. They got one back for Quinn Ewers, but still you're giving up something, which seems crazy
03:58to me because you've had all this time to figure out who you wanted on your team. I'm guessing
04:03Minnesota. I'm guessing not Cleveland, but I'm guessing some of these other teams are thinking,
04:07you know, if we cut this guy and that guy ends up being the three or the two for the
04:11other team,
04:12let's just hold on to him a little longer. It's almost like blocking them maybe from going on
04:15to another team. I agree. That's the only explanation I have.
