00:06Terminus by Newcastle photographer Sasha Mallow Tardevo records the final two years of the
00:12original Metro fleet, working since the 1980s. She travelled across the network between 2024
00:19and 2026, photographing passengers and everyday moments. The project includes commuters, football
00:26fans, couples and people waiting for a train. Mallow Tardevo says people are at the heart of the work.
00:33She describes the photographs as moments that may seem mundane but can tell a story.
00:38The original Metro train completed its journey in June after 46 years in service.
