Michael Weatherly has some news for NCIS fans but jokingly wonders how he’s supposed to tell everyone. With a chuckle he confirms that Special Agent Tony DiNozzo is coming back and signs off with a promise to see fans in the fall.
Weatherly originated the role of DiNozzo when NCIS premiered and became one of the show’s defining original cast members. His return brings the longtime fan favorite back to the series that made Tony one of television’s most recognizable special agents.
NCIS returns for Season 24 on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, on CBS.
