00:03Do you know how I make my position on Nifty Wickel expiry day?
00:08Why do I wait until almost 9:30?
00:11Why I prefer the premium of 35 to 35 rupees today
00:16Why do I prefer ATM and ITM strike prices?
00:20Why do I also check the direction of Nifty and Bank Nifty?
00:25And why do I take positions on both sides of the call and put?
00:30Today I am going to tell you my personal Nifty weekly expiry option buying strategy in very simple language.
00:38So let's start, first of all I am an option buyer, so patience is very important for me.
00:45First of all, I want to make one thing clear that I am an option buyer and this strategy is completely
00:52is related to option buying
00:54Option buying does not always provide market opportunities
00:59It is not necessary for the option buyer to get the right entry every day and every time.
01:05So in my strategy, just taking trades is not important.
01:10It is also more important for me that positions are created and executed only when the right conditions are met.
01:18go
01:19That is why I try to follow all these rules of my strategy properly.
01:25am
01:26Number two, first step: I wait for the market till about 9.30.
01:32On the day of Nifty weekly expiry, I do not execute my positions immediately after the market opens.
01:38I generally wait till around 9.50 am and observe the market.
01:44During this time, I look at the initial moment of the market and its ups and downs.
01:50I also observe Nifty and Bank Nifty and see how the option premium is moving.
01:57are behaving with
01:58Around 9.5 PM I start looking at the premium and strike price as per my strategy.
02:06Number 3: Why I prefer a premium of Rs 30-35
02:11Now you can ask me a question that why should I buy such a chit premium of around Rs 30-35?
02:19why do I like
02:20And what is the reason behind this, the main reason behind this is weekly expiry day, this is that weekly
02:27The last day of the contract is
02:30The reason I like it
02:32You must have seen many times that the option premium which was Rs 50, Rs 60 or Rs 100 in the days before expiry
02:41Sometimes it is seen around Rs 100 or Rs 1,500 or even Rs 200.
02:46The same premium can be reduced significantly on the day of expiry and can be available around Rs 30-35.
02:52Therefore, my main focus in my strategy is a premium of around Rs 30-35.
02:59I try to get premiums around this range on both call and put sides.
03:07If the premium is very high then I would not take positions immediately after 9 am just by looking at the time.
03:16takes
03:16I wait, essentially it is not necessary to take positions after 9 o'clock
03:22For me it is very important to wait for the right premium range
03:32Now even getting a premium of just Rs 30-35 is not enough for me.
03:37I also look at where the strike price is.
03:40My friend used the first preference ATM i.e. 8 Da Money
03:45If I get an ATM strike price around my preferred premium range
03:51That means if I get 8 da money then I prefer it more than the same amount.
03:56But if I get ATM i.e. in the money premium strike price around the same premium range
04:04So for me that could be even better, on the other hand ATM means out of the money.
04:13I prefer a very low strike price
04:17So my item has strike price preference at first ATM
04:22And if you get a good ITM in this premium range, it is even better.
04:29I rarely prefer ATMs.
04:31My strategy is not just about buying cheap premium products.
04:35I like to look at premium as well as strike price positions
04:41Number five most important condition: Which direction is Nifty and Bank Nifty heading towards?
04:46There is one more very important thing I look at before making positions.
04:50That is in which direction Nifty and Bank Nifty are moving.
04:54If both are moving in the same direction
04:58So I check the rest of my strategy conditions.
05:02But if Nifty is moving in one direction
05:06And Bank Nifty is moving in the exact opposite direction.
05:10So in that situation I avoid taking positions.
05:15Or I don't create my positions.
05:17This is a clear no trade conditions in my strategy
05:21If Nifty and Bank Nifty are moving in opposite directions
05:25So on that day I simply prefer to avoid trading.
05:29I don't open positions on that day just because it's weekly expiry.
05:34Number six: Why do I take positions on both call and put sides?
05:38When the conditions of my strategy are right
05:42Then I build positions on both the call and put sides
05:46The reason is that I wouldn't have known Nifty Tarup beforehand.
05:50whether the market will go up or down
05:53The market can move in any direction on the expiry day.
05:57Sometimes our view is from above.
06:00But the market goes down.
06:09You might have felt this too.
06:11Sometimes it seems that the direction in which our views are
06:15On the day of expiry, the market starts moving in the exact opposite direction.
06:20So I never rely solely on my directional view.
06:24I put my view aside and build positions on both the call and put sides.
06:30Because my focus is not at all on predicting this.
06:34whether the market will go up or down
06:37My focus is only on these things.
06:39If the market shows significant movement in any direction on the expiry day
06:44So my strategy should have positions on both sides
06:48Now I want to ask you a question
06:51Does this happen to you too?
06:53The direction in which you have created positions
06:57Or the direction in which your market view is
07:01On the day of expiry, the market starts moving in the opposite direction.
07:05If this happens to you
07:07So please tell us by commenting below
07:10And if on the expiry day the market moves according to your positional view
07:15So please tell us that too by commenting.
07:18I want to know that in your experience, on the day of expiry, the market moves more as per your view.
07:27or often its opposite
07:29with the number
07:30What do I do after taking a position?
07:32After taking a position, I continuously observe the market.
07:36I will see how the Nifty moment is.
07:40Is the market going up or down?
07:43How is Bank Nifty moving?
07:46And how is the overall market situation?
07:49For me, it is part of the strategy to continuously trade the market even after taking positions.
07:56Number eight
07:57How long do I hold the position?
08:00This is also an important part
08:02Now let's talk about an important part of my strategy.
08:05which is holding time
08:07I mean, I had a similar approach before.
08:10that nifty weekly expiry positions
08:12I used to hold it till about quarter past three.
08:16But since CS has been implemented
08:18After that, in my observation
08:20Expected expiry date and moment many times
08:22It is visible even after 3.15 pm
08:24That is why I now have my
08:26Position only till 3.15 pm
08:28does not hold
08:29Now, according to the market situation
08:32Retain your built positions
08:34until 3:30 p.m.
08:35sometimes up to 3.35
08:37I also like to hold
08:39And the biggest reason behind this is
08:42Because that's CS.
08:43Even at the last moment of expiry
08:44moment can be seen
08:47And you may have also noticed that
08:49Number 9 my whole
08:51strategy to manage time in simple language
08:53If I try then my nifty weekly
08:54expiry option buying strategy
08:56The complete process is as follows
08:58I am an option buyer
08:59So, the right opportunity
09:01I wait for
09:02I will wait till about 9 o'clock sir
09:05I observe the market
09:07After that sir after 9 o'clock
09:09I look at the premium on both sides, call or put.
09:13Around 30 to 35
09:15Nearby premium
09:16I try to find
09:18I wait if the premium is high
09:21In Astounding Price Selection
09:23I prefer ATM the most.
09:25In the same premium range, if
09:27If you find a good ATM,
09:29And I believe it is better
09:31ATM Astound Price Very Low
09:33I prefer
09:35Direction of Nifty and Bank Nifty
09:37I check both
09:39If both are in opposite directions
09:42So I don't build in positions.
09:44I avoid trading on the same day
09:46Because both are moving in opposite directions.
09:49when the conditions are right
09:51In both call and put positions
09:53I make
09:54After taking the position, continuously watch the market
09:56I observe
09:57according to market conditions
09:59Position from about quarter to three
10:02I open it by 3:35 pm
10:04This is my personal Nifty weekly expiry
10:06option buying strategy
10:08The basic process is
10:10Now after the most important
10:12Any trading strategy
10:14Doesn't work 100% of the time
10:17So I every weekly expiry
10:19But first the market
10:20I observe
10:21Then in the conditions of your strategy
10:24I check and then
10:26I decide that the link position
10:28to make or not to make
10:30Any strategy has to be made
10:32Based on one or two trades
10:33Cannot be jilted
10:35According to me, who should have strategy?
10:37With dedication and discipline
10:39Only after following his real
10:42the result in a better way
10:43It can be understood if
10:45The outcome of a strategy
10:47After long trades
10:49Good for borrowing
10:51Favored more than 60% of the time
10:53If you get results then it is correct
10:55overall with risk management
10:57To see better performance
10:59It is possible to get it but it is not
11:01There is no guarantee at all
11:03What is the final calculation?
11:05So the heart of nifty weekly expiry
11:07my personal option buying
11:09The focus of the approach is very
11:11simple is the first right
11:13wait for the opportunity
11:15Almost to Sathe Ngo Jet
11:17to wait and to market
11:19observe after
11:21Then comes the call
11:23or put on both sides
11:24around 30 to 35
11:27Premium View Astrikes
11:29What do I do in price selection?
11:31ATM is my main
11:33preference occurs if the same
11:35Good in premium range
11:36ATM means Inda Money
11:38If I get the strike price then I will sell it to him.
11:40I believe it is even better
11:42And the ATM strike price is very
11:45I prefer less
11:47Before making positions
11:48Nifty and Bank Nifty
11:50I definitely check the direction
11:53that both are in the same direction
11:55If both are moving opposite
11:56If I am moving in the direction then on the same day
11:58I don't celebrate positions and
12:00I avoid the trade and
12:02If the conditions of my strategy
12:04If correct then predict direction
12:07Why do I call?
12:09and put positions on both sides
12:10I build after taking position
12:13I constantly observe the market
12:15And after CS is implemented
12:18position is defined as the position of the
12:20I hold it from 3:30 to 3:35
12:23This is my personal nifty weekly expiry option buying strategy
12:27If you like my nifty weekly expiry option buying strategy
