00:03Allison, the magic power level assessment has begun.
00:33Darnold!
00:47Crumbo!
00:54Allison, congratulations.
00:57Mana, A rank, magic aptitude test, S rank.
01:07Grandpa George! I passed the mana test.
01:10Congrats, Allison. Your mana's grown even stronger.
01:13You should be at Augusta Royal Academy, the top magic school in the world.
01:17I'll figure something out. It would be a terrible waste of your talent.
01:20George, we're barely getting by. There's no way we could afford Augustus.
01:34Miss Allison, I presume?
01:36Yes.
01:37Miss Allison, I am Winston, butler of Ashford family.
01:39You're the long-lost daughter of House Ashford.
01:41Lord Keene sent me to bring you home. If you would follow me, please.
01:44An old magic family? Sounds like free resources to me.
01:48All right, I'll go.
01:49Allison, you-
01:50Don't worry! I'll learn everything I can while I'm there.
01:53Once I get into Augusta, I'll come right back.
02:07I'm worried about the Ashfields. They have no idea what's coming.
02:16Thanks for the smooth ride, big guy.
02:22The griffin actually likes her? Impossible. Even Master Raymond couldn't do that.
02:27Raymond, please just let me go. The real Ashworth daughter is coming home. I'm leaving now. Maybe someday I'll come
02:35back to visit.
02:37Victoria, you're my sister. No one's kicking you out. So you're Allison.
02:44Victoria's in tears and you're just standing there? Apologize to her! Now!
02:49Fine. My fault.
02:56Weren't you in a hurry to leave? Oh, am I in your way?
03:00I-I, that's not-
03:03Go on then. Feel free to leave.
03:11How dare you talk to Victoria like that? Didn't those stupid half-bloods teach you any manners?
03:17That's all you've got?
03:23Impossible! The family griffin turned on me for this outsider!
03:29Silence!
03:32Allison, all those half-bloods taught you were bad habits. And you barely returned before causing trouble.
03:39Father, it's all my fault! It's my fault! Please don't blame Allison!
03:42Victoria, starting tomorrow, take Allison to Augusta. Teach her some manners. Don't let her disgrace our name.
03:49Berenkeen, first you invited me here, didn't you? Second, even if I weren't your daughter just a guest, you should
03:54have stopped your son. It's basic courtesy.
03:56We're family! Why be so difficult? Allison, your room is ready. On the first floor, no, the second. The best
04:02one in the house. Winston, take her luggage.
04:04Yes, sir. Miss, please follow me.
04:13Miss, if you need anything, just call me. I'll leave you to rest now.
04:21This whole family is out of their minds. Thank God I was swapped at birth. If I'd grown up here,
04:26I'd probably catch the crazy too. Who cares? Tomorrow I start the prep class. Time to sleep.
04:35Today's the day. A real magic school. I just can't wait.
04:44Raymond, I upset Alan yesterday. She must hate me now. But don't worry. We're going to school together today. I'll
04:51do my best to make her forgive me.
04:53She's the one bullying you. Why should you suck up to her? Let's go.
04:59But didn't we promise Kyle we'd all ride together today?
05:02Forget it. I'll explain to him later. I can't stand that girl for another second.
05:12Hey! I haven't even gotten in!
05:16Great. I don't even know where the school is. Late on day one? Seriously?
05:25Looks like we've both been stood up. Hop in, my lady.
05:36So this is Kyle, the magical prodigy. Even people in the mortal world know who he is. The Magnar family.
05:42One of the oldest magical families. Kyle's its heir. And one of the greatest mages of his generation.
05:48She keeps sneaking glances at me. Could it be, she's into me?
05:51He's my biggest rival in the magic chicken family.
06:01So this is the top magic academy. The holy grail for every mage. Every wizard dreams of this place.
06:15Welcome to Augusta. Allison, if you need a ride tomorrow, use this to contact me.
06:19Yes. Thank you so much, Kyle.
06:28You filthy bitch! First my place, now my Kyle! You'll regret this, I swear it!
06:39Professor Victor, may I have a word?
06:41Hmm. What is it?
06:43Well, it's like this. She's Allison, our maid's daughter. She studied with half blood in the mundane world. Her martyr
06:51skills are a total rest. My father pitied her, so he let her enroll under our name.
06:55I see. Send her to me.
06:59Hi, I'm here to register. My name's Allison.
07:04Allison, you're not even close to prep class level. Bottom on the next test? You're out. No chance to take
07:10the advancement exam.
07:13Got it. Thank you, Professor Victor.
07:15Hmm. Check with your instructor, Professor Anna, for the next test date.
07:19Victoria is rated E, in magic. One piece of dead weight is enough. Last thing I need is another one
07:25worse than her.
07:26Are they all that good? A rank, mana, and I don't even make the cut?
07:32Raymond and Kyle are in Morningstar class. Victoria and I are in Oak. This is it.
07:46Hello, Professor. I'm Allison. I just transferred here.
07:49Who is this? Have you seen her?
07:54Allison's my friend. She grew up in the mundane world, so she's pretty weak in both mana control and magical
08:01knowledge.
08:01What, a half-blood wizard? What's she doing here?
08:03Ha! Another dead last. Guess I won't be at the bottom anymore.
08:08Quiet!
08:10Allison, go find a seat, dear.
08:19Astral summoning is one of the most remarkable branches of magic.
08:23Each person summons a different creature. Some are strong, some are weak.
08:28This is far beyond anything I've ever learned.
08:33Augusta really is on another level. Even prep students study this stuff.
08:37Everyone, to test your progress in astral summoning, we'll hold a mana assessment this afternoon.
08:41All students must participate.
08:43Allison, it's your first day. You don't have to take part.
08:45No! Professor Anna, I want to take it.
08:48Alright then.
08:50Professor Victor told me if Allison finishes dead last, she'll be expelled on the spot.
08:56You stupid nobody. You're digging your own graeme.
09:00Yes! An assessment already! I'll finally see where I stand.
09:12Victoria, why are you so happy today?
09:14I thought you hated exams so much.
09:16That was before. Now I can't wait for them.
09:19The magic ranking exam is only two months away.
09:22I've been working hard too.
09:24If I finish dead last.
09:28I'd be way too embarrassed this day.
09:34The whole school's taking this exam.
09:36And look at this crowd!
09:38I just can't wait!
09:40I'm always scraping the bottom.
09:42Total humiliation every time.
09:44But now, I found someone even worse.
09:47Allison! Allison! Over here!
09:49Why is she acting so nice?
09:51Since when are we that close?
09:52Allison! You're new here.
09:55You probably don't know how the exam works, right?
09:56I'm here to help.
09:58Really? Of course!
10:00Father told me to look after you at school.
10:01The exam is paired. You pick your own partner.
10:04On stage, you each use astral summoning and your summons fight.
10:07The professors score you on the fight, and who wins?
10:10Astral!
10:21See? That's how it works!
10:23Wanna team up with me?
10:25I'm afraid I might go overboard and hurt you.
10:28Don't worry. My mana's really strong.
10:31You're still catching up, so just do your best out there.
10:33You're strong? Great!
10:35Then I'll give it everything I've got!
10:36I'll go sign us up. Wait here.
10:38Oh, and Mother's a special guest today. She'll be watching!
10:43Once we're up there, you'll see the gap between us.
10:48I finally made it into Augusta's prep class.
10:51I have to do my best.
10:52I can't lose my shot at the advancement exam.
10:56Kyle, where's this interesting young lady you told me about?
10:58Mother, one moment. I'll bring her over.
11:05Your Grace, I'm Allison, Kyle's friend.
11:07Sweet girl. Come closer. Let me get a good look at you.
11:13Alison! Where are your manners?
11:15Mother is right here, and you haven't even greeted her.
11:21Sorry, Mother.
11:24My bad. It's been like ten years. You look different in my head.
11:27She's only in her teens, so she hasn't seen her mother since birth.
11:30That's awful. Is House Ashford really that cruel?
11:35What's going on here?
11:37Your Grace, she's the daughter we lost years ago.
11:39We just found her. Poor thing.
11:41She grew up in the mundane world with half-blood wizards, so all this is new to her.
11:46Don't worry, dear. Everything will be fine.
11:48Come, watch the match for us.
12:04This year's freshmen are pretty solid.
12:07Decent enough, but no match for my Victoria.
12:10Alison, though, she's way behind. I just hope she doesn't embarrass her.
12:14I just hope she doesn't embarrass her.
12:20This match goes to Ralph!
12:24Next match, Victoria Ashwith versus Alison Ashwith.
12:32Victoria, show her what real magic is.
12:38Alison, today you'll learn your place.
12:41Worked so hard for this.
12:43Time to see what I can really do.
12:48My mana's always been average, but Alison, she's a Mewdeen nobody.
12:53I could take her blindfolded.
12:55Give it everything you've got.
12:57That's the only way you'll stay at Augusta.
13:00Got it? Got it.
13:01If you're a real academy student, you must be strong.
13:04I won't hold back.
13:05Perfect. Go all out.
13:07Then I'll be forced to hurt you and no one can blame me.
13:10Lord of stars, master of all summoning.
13:13That actually looks impressive.
13:19As your faithful servant, I call upon me...
13:23Lapabeadra!
13:32Now it's my turn.
13:36My Victoria actually summoned an eagle centenera.
13:40Only Victoria deserves to be called an Ashfield.
13:44Isn't Alison your sister too?
13:46Raymond, aren't you worried about her at all?
13:47She won't get hurt if she just gives up.
14:07What? That's a summon?
14:08Flamex!
14:20Dammit, she's so weak. How am I supposed to hit her?
14:23Alison! This counts towards your grade.
14:26Show your real power. Don't hold anything back.
14:30Okay, here I go.
14:33Go.
14:42That's so weak.
14:43I heard Alison's the Ashwitz Maid's Kid.
14:46How'd a half-breed nobody even get into prep?
14:48Ugh, I hate those types.
14:50This match is gonna be boring.
14:54What is this? Is she a circus cloud?
14:58She's disgracing Ashwitz's name.
15:00Raymond, pull her out.
15:02Don't let her embarrass us here.
15:04Lady Scarlet, you clearly don't know your daughter.
15:08Watch closely.
15:10This is the most powerful astral summonation Augusta's seen in a decade.
15:19Yes! That's it!
15:21The stronger her mana, the better.
15:23Then I'll have every excuse to hit back.
15:25Go! Smash that phantom!
15:30Move it! Now!
15:32Move it! Now!
15:41That's insane!
15:43Don't be ridiculous.
15:44Among all the prep climates, only Kyle Magna might be on her level.
15:48No. No way.
15:52How is she this strong?
15:54Victoria, stop holding back.
15:56Give me your best shot.
16:01Holding back?
16:02Me?
16:18Come on, fight back!
16:21Stop!
16:23Stop it!
16:25I surrender!
16:27Huh?
16:28No!
16:47No...
16:49No!
16:51No!
16:51No!
16:52No!
16:54No!
16:55Incredible. Alison, you're one of the most gifted majors I've ever seen.
16:59Congratulations. You got a perfect score.
17:04Thank you, Professor.
17:18Victoria!
17:19Victoria! Alison! How could you do this to Victoria?
17:28What did I do?
17:32Raymond, don't blame Alison. It was me. I... I took her place.
17:46She resents me, so she lashes out. It's okay. I can take it.
17:53Alison! Why are you bullying Victoria? You're bringing shame on this family!
17:59How was I supposed to know she was that weak? If House Asham's training failed her, that's on you, not
18:03me.
18:05And now you're talking back? Victoria is your sister and you hurt her on purpose!
18:12Huh. Victoria, you said you were strong and told me to go all out.
18:18Forgot already?
18:20I... I...
18:22Even so, you went too far.
18:26This is ridiculous.
18:31An excellent match, Alison. I'm truly impressed by your talent.
18:36As a reward, Kyle...
18:38Yes, Mother?
18:39Tomorrow, give Alison the magic scrolls from my collection.
18:43Just some magic scrolls?
18:46My lady, thank you for your generosity.
18:50Your grace, you can't.
18:51They're far too precious.
18:53Think nothing of it. It's settled.
18:57The Grand Duchess' private collection?
19:00That bitch, Alison, doesn't deserve it.
19:04Why her?
19:05No.
19:06She won't be smiling for long.
19:16She won't be smiling for long.
19:24Darinor!

34:11Alice, the so-called genius, was it?
34:15Not so impressive after all.
34:21I'm not there. A little more time.
34:28My dear mistress, things seem to be going well.
34:35You're Drake Marvolo? The dark wizard exiled to the dark realm?
34:40The one and only, Drake Marvolo. A pleasure to meet such a lovely lady.
34:45I changed my mind, Allison. Killing you now would be too easy.
34:49I'll tell everyone you worked with a dark wizard, that you set a trap to murder me during the exam.
34:54Then you'll stand trial before the Magic Council as a traitor, and the whole realm will despise you.
35:00I do like that plan.
35:04Then everyone will finally see the truth.
35:07I'm the only true daughter of House Ashilt.
35:09And you?
35:10You're just a common-bred whore. Nothing more.
35:14Just wait!
35:15Kyle, Professor Victor, Grand Duchess Cecilia, everyone who's on your side will soon despise you.
35:20Victoria, you know what? You're a scheming viper.
35:24Careful, Miss Allison. Scheming is a compliment. Why call it an insult?
35:29You're both insane.
35:37Kyle! Raymond! Something's gone horribly wrong!
35:40What happened? Who hurt you?
35:42It was Allison! I saw her with a dark wizard! They were setting a trap!
35:48That's impossible.
35:49It's true! I followed her to the Eastern Barrier Node.
35:53She was with a man covered in dark magic.
35:56I tried to stop them! She almost killed me!
35:59I knew it! That wretch was never right from the start!
36:02You're lying.
36:03Kyle, you'd rather trust her over me? Fine! Go see for yourself!
36:06She's at the Eastern Barrier Node!
36:10Miss Allison, you fascinated me.
36:12Born with primal essence, yet those fools treat you like dirt.
36:16Consider my offer.
36:17Join me, and I'll give you power enough to make them all kneel before you.
36:22Even my dear mistress, of course.
36:25I grew up in an orphanage.
36:27Grandpa George taught me.
36:29If you want something, earn it yourself.
36:31Selling your soul and dignity for power?
36:34That's not strength, that's crap!
36:43Two types of mana.
36:44Tell me, which one is filthy and which is noble?
36:47Someone as rotten as you.
36:49Wouldn't know good from evil if it bit you.
37:01Sharp tongue, but...
37:03When they find you here with me, who do you think they'll believe?
37:23Kyle, see?
37:24I wasn't lying!
37:25Allison has truly betrayed us!
37:28Is that Drake?
37:29The Dark Wizard?
37:30Why is...
37:30Why is Allison with him?
37:31Allison's a traitor!
37:33She joined the Dark Wizard!
37:37Allison, I knew you were lying!
37:40You've been pretending from the start!
37:43Get the facts straight first.
37:49See?
37:50Once doubt takes root, your fate is sealed.
37:54Allison, one last chance.
37:56Join me.
37:57Help me complete the blood ritual and open the gate to the Dark Realm.
38:03You'll get Dark Power.
38:05And I'll clear all your troubles.
38:08Even Victoria.
38:12What are you waiting for?
38:15What are you waiting for?
38:25Do you ever stop talking?
38:30So, you still haven't made up your mind?
38:34That's it?
38:36Not tempting enough?
38:38What exactly do you think you can do?
38:47Allison!
38:48Get over here!
38:49I trust you!
38:50Damn it.
38:51After all this, you still believe her?
38:53Fine.
38:54Then die with her.
38:55How long are you going to stand there?
38:57I'm losing patience.
38:58Really?
38:59Then don't mind if I do.
39:04What are you doing?
39:12You said we're on the same side, right?
39:14Then just take a few hits to fool them,
39:16so they won't suspect our next move.
39:20Not bad.
39:21I should have thought of that.
39:23But you could have at least warned me first.
39:31You!
39:43Enough!
39:44Relax.
39:45The show's just getting started.
39:52Is she messing with him?
39:55Looks like it.
39:57That's just like you, Allison.
39:59What is she doing?
40:00Damn her!
40:05Damn her!
40:06Game over.
40:08You just lost your last chance.
40:12Keep your damn chance!
40:18You stole the whole spotlight.
40:21The rest is all yours.
40:27Allison, I...
40:28I was wrong about you.
40:31I'm sorry.
40:34Victoria, what's going on?
40:38You said she sided with the Dark Wizard.
40:42Raymond, it's not what you think.
40:44Wait!
40:46Then explain yourself.
40:57The real traitor was you all along!
41:02Victoria, you're more vicious than a viper.
41:05So what if I am?
41:07Why?
41:08Victoria, why would you do this?
41:11Why?
41:11Because none of you Ashvolts deserve me.
41:14You play the perfect big brother,
41:16like you're some great heir.
41:18Father only cares up to your name.
41:19Mother just hides behind fake tears.
41:21You're all useless!
41:23You!
41:25I'm sorry, Allison.
41:35Thanks for the hospitality.
41:36The sacrifices are more than enough.
41:44Anything for you.
41:49Your Grace, Your Excellency, what's happening?
41:52Could it be... he's back?
41:54Only one man commands darkness this pure.
41:56Only Drake Marvelo.
41:57The exam is over.
41:59We have to stop that Dark Wizard now.
42:02Yes, Your Excellency.
42:08Is darkness rising again?
42:10No.
42:11The kids.
42:12They're still in the forest.
42:14There's no time.
42:15Victoria can't defend herself.
42:38Victoria!
42:40Raymond!
42:41Where are they?
42:42This forest is too big.
42:44Shh.
42:57Allison!
42:58Where are Raymond and Victoria?
43:03Drake took Raymond.
43:04He's draining him to power the blood ritual.
43:06If you want to save him, go now.
43:09A dark wizard took him?
43:12Allison!
43:12Listen, he's your brother.
43:14Why didn't you save him?
43:15Do you hate us that much that you just watch him die?
43:23This isn't on her.
43:24The truth is...
43:25I don't care what happened!
43:26Where's Victoria?
43:28Victoria!
43:32Looking for Victoria?
43:34Try looking up.
43:35What's wrong with you?
43:37Raymond's dying, Victoria's missing,
43:38and you're still smiling?
43:54Your Excellency, please!
43:56Save my child, Victoria!
43:58Enough, Baron Kian.
44:00Victoria is standing beside Drake.
44:02She attacked Raymond,
44:03and offered her own brother as fuel for the blood ritual.
44:06She is the traitor.
44:09If you don't believe me,
44:11look for yourself.
44:23Victoria is the traitor.
44:26She attacked Raymond?
44:29The void gate to the Dark Realm is open.
44:32These fiends are endless.
44:34We can't kill them all.
44:35Child, you're our last hope now.
44:38Me?
44:39Only the purest light can suppress the darkness.
44:42Only your magic can seal the void gate.
44:48It's power.
45:00You're grace.
45:01Your Excellency.
45:03You're too late.
45:05The gate is already open.
45:06Antonio,
45:07it's been a long time.
45:22You're grace.
45:23You think I'm still that girl you can fish around?
45:30Impressive.
45:31But you can't kill me.
45:33Look at the gate!
45:33As long as it remains open,
45:35darkness will swallow this world.
45:37Even if I fall today,
45:39I will come back.
45:40You've lost.
46:08Impossible!
46:09How could it purify the void gate?
46:11Because it's not just about my powers.
46:14I have people who believe in me.
46:21Alison!
46:22This isn't over!
46:30I'm still lost.
46:35By order of the Magic Council,
46:38House Ashman is hereby stripped of its Baronian title.
46:41It harbored their adopted daughter,
46:42Victoria.
46:43She conspired with a dark wizard
46:45and caused the deaths of many examinees.
47:01There's something I want to tell you.
47:03Yeah?
47:04I've been watching you since day one.
47:06Me too, actually.
47:08So you also?
47:09Of course.
47:10That's how you win.
47:10Always watch your rival closely.
47:12No need to apologize.
47:14Come on.
47:15Headmaster Tonya is about to announce the results.
47:18Hey!
47:19Why are you walking so fast?
47:21I don't know.
47:22I don't know.
47:22I don't know.
47:22I don't know.
47:23Have you ever met?
47:23I don't know.
47:24Maybe.
47:25I don't know.
47:25Something I'll tell you.
47:27You
