00:03And this one's about baseball, so you know I'm already in a good mood.
00:08It's about a giveaway done at a Seattle Mariners game that ended up in a payday of more than $20
00:15,000.
00:16Wow.
00:17Now, you might be thinking, okay, what are they giving away?
00:20Because if it's anything like I've gotten at a baseball game, it's one in 20,000 of the same things
00:26given away at the same time.
00:27For sure.
00:28The T-shirt, the hat.
00:29Right.
00:30How could it be valuable if they're giving away that many, right?
00:34Well, the Seattle Mariners were doing a baseball card giveaway, so everybody got a card when they walked in.
00:42Now, I am just now learning of this.
00:44Are you familiar, either of you, with Jimothy?
00:48Oh, yeah.
00:49Isn't he that, like, I don't know, poor little misshapen rodent?
00:53Yeah.
00:55Well put.
00:55He is a raccoon, some pronounce it that way, or raccoon, or whatever you want to say, who has some
01:03sort of fused spine, so he's kind of short, and he kind of sort of runs the way like a
01:10monkey.
01:11I don't know.
01:12I don't really know how to explain it.
01:13But he's long.
01:14His legs look like they're too long, and his body looks like it's too short.
01:17Exactly.
01:18Yeah.
01:18Very, very interesting looking.
01:20Well, out of Seattle, he's become a viral sensation.
01:23In fact, if you go onto Google and you type in Jimothy, Jimothy will run across your page.
01:29Wow.
01:29Okay.
01:30Which is crazy.
01:31So, this little girl, 13-year-old girl, Abby, gets a Jimothy baseball card.
01:39What?
01:40Like, exclusive, one-of-a-kind Jimothy baseball card.
01:44Okay.
01:45This is the only one that we know exists in the world, and it is a massive deal, right?
01:50Because it's a viral sensation right now.
01:53And during the game, multiple people came up to her to try to offer her money for her card, including,
02:00actually, a pitcher, George Kirby.
02:03Wow.
02:04A major league pitcher sent a staff member up to the stands to see how much he could pay for
02:09Jimothy's card.
02:11Dead serious.
02:11What?
02:12So, the Mariners just made this card, right?
02:16They just made it.
02:17They made one, and it was like, oh, this will be a funny little thing, not realizing, I'm sure, the
02:24payday that somebody was going to get because of it.
02:26So, Abby, rightfully so, was like, you know what?
02:30I'm going to sleep on this.
02:31I'm going to sit on this and figure out what I'm going to do.
02:33She gets home.
02:36She put it up on eBay.
02:37Bid started at $1 and ended up at $21,000 was the final payday.
02:46Wow.
02:46Who is spending $21,000?
02:50A, for, I'm sorry, any trading card.
02:53B, one of a rodent.
02:56The JFC is who's doing it.
02:58The Jimothy fan club, of course.
02:59Yep.
03:00As we know.
03:01They run deep.
03:02They run deep.
03:04Wow.
03:04And he runs awkwardly.
03:06But nonetheless, Abby has now said that she's going to give some money back to the food bank,
03:12which was actually what the whole giveaway on that day was about.
03:16Oh, how lovely.
03:17And then she's going to save the rest for her college fund.
03:20Good for her, Abby.
03:2213-year-old Abby.
03:24Jimothy card sells for $21,000.
03:27Amazing.
