00:00I'd be like surely we can just do something about the golf ball everyone will go back 10 or 15
00:04yards but I think from the research that the tour has done and you know again like Cameron Young is
00:13and I think Gary Woodland played the golf ball last week this Titleist whatever the Pro B1 double dot whatever
00:19and that would be a conforming golf ball if it were the 2028 or 2030 rules so I just think
00:29these you know the
00:29manufacturers are so good that you know the governing bodies can put rules in place but they're going to figure
00:35out a way to get around them that I think there just needs to be more thought being put into
00:40it and I think what is a good thing is it seems like the governing bodies and the manufacturers and
00:46the PGA Tour are being a little bit more collaborative in terms of what they can do so yes it
00:50may take a couple extra years to to figure out what the need is
00:57but I think everyone agrees that equipment needs to be regulated it needs to be regulated it can't just keep
01:02carrying on at the at the rate it's going not at the elite level like leave amateurs alone bifurcate I'm
01:09all for bifurcation but I think at this level to again to keep some of these golf courses relevant that
01:15we want to go to and we're talking about I think equipment whether that's ball whether that's club
01:21whatever that means I think at all you know it has to be regulated to a to a higher degree
01:26than it is at the minute
01:27you
