00:00The internet is obsessed with your wig, so I just want to know, like, what has been your reaction to
00:05all of that?
00:06I haven't laughed that much in a long time to see everybody's reaction to the wig, because, and I get
00:13it, I'm known to look like this, and that's what people are used to, and then they see me all
00:18of a sudden with a big, beautiful wig on, and it was so jarring for people, and the internet does
00:24the internet.
00:25And my hope is, when the internet did the internet, I was like, okay, please entertain me, though, you know,
00:30and it was very, very entertaining, but also I knew, I get it, it's jarring, it will pass by, and
00:41the film will come out, and I want you to see the film, because I knew what we had, it
00:46was like, he and I have been talking about this, like, oh, we got this thing, and we can't wait
00:51for people to see it, like, we got a secret, we can't wait for you to see it, so I
00:54just,
00:54I knew.
00:55Thomas, what was your first reaction when you saw the hair?
00:58Well, you know, I saw Dwayne more on set than off set, so I didn't know he was bald.
01:01Yes.
01:03Yeah.
01:03That was a revelation for me.
01:05But, you know, one of the things that they talked about back in 2016, and when we were, you know,
01:09talking about making this version, is, you know, Maui's power is related to his hair, and the length of his
01:15hair and the fullness of that is directly connected to his mana.
01:19See, that's what I'm used to.
01:20I'm used to Dwayne with hair.
01:23That's kind of, like, the image I have associated with him, because I spent 80 days with him looking like
01:29that, so now when I see him.
01:30So when you see him now.
01:31Yeah, I'm like, who is this?
01:32I have no, who, I'm like, I don't know who that is.
01:34Sorry.
01:35Sorry.
