00:18Rosie, what have police said?
00:22Good evening Jeremy.
00:24Police have said that detectives from the Sexual Crime Squad here in Victoria travelled
00:28to NSW this week, where they've spoken with four men in relation to sexual assault allegations
00:35that were reported at the Pullman Hotel last month.
00:38Police have also confirmed it's three women that have made these reports regarding the
00:43alleged assault in the early hours of the 17th of August.
00:47It is important to say that no arrests have been made at this stage and no charges laid,
00:51but we do now know that a 26-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, both from Randwick,
00:57a 30-year-old
00:58man from Maroobra and a 25-year-old man from Paddington have all been spoken to by detectives.
01:04Police have said they also will or have already spoken with another three men who they believe
01:10were in the room at the time of the alleged sexual assault, but they are being treated
01:14as witnesses at this stage.
01:17Now in the wake of this scandal, we do of course know that five Sydney Swans players were stood
01:22down until at least the end of the AFL season.
01:25That is Vice Captain Isaac Keeney, players Chad Warner, James Jordan, Riley Bice and Nick Blakey.
01:31Now this evening the club has released a statement saying it extends its sincere apologies to members,
01:38fans and the wider community for any distress or disappointment this matter may have caused
01:43and that the well-being of those impacted remains of paramount importance.
01:48Now detectives have said this of course is an active and ongoing investigation,
01:52but it could be some time before we know anything further.
01:56They've said not to expect any more updates for about eight weeks.
